My account just got hacked...

So, some bastard hacked my account, changed the details and is now using my priest to farm stuff.... So have a nice time everyone and enjoy your RP, I in the meanwhile am going to tripple my emo rating and get very angry! So, -hopefully- someday my brother can get my account back, meanwhile Kingdom of Alterac call GMs, not like they will do anything as they never feckin' do... Basically, I wont be on at all for a while im guessing, just letting you guys know.

If I ever find the guy who did this im gonna make him suffer!

no really, that sucks. GM's are generally helpful in these matters though, people get their account back, if they still have their serial number of their wow copy. Don't worry too much.

When this happened to me, the hacker was using my account for a AH speed hack and was sky glitching so no one could see him. However, the moron went AFK on my character while glitching, so I created a trial account and Ticketed a GM who then found the hacker AFK and asked me to confirm that the account was mine by filing out the usual contact details before the account was changed.

Name, address, phone number, secret question etc. I had my account back in a hour or so and had my items returned in the following days.

An old guildie in Arathor (Not the guild, the realm) Was hacked. Took Blizzard 3weeks to return his stuff.

Was once hacked back when I played on Sporeggar.

When I got the account back the hacker sold all my junk and gave me some nice gear upgrades, along with 2000g and 6stacks each of mana and health potions.

Plus all my junk was gone.

Can´t say I complained there ^^

I'm immune to hacking.. I've been hacked countless times now which is quite a bitch.
The most effective thing to do is just to call Blizzard, they'll have it fixed within like 10-15 minutes or so :3

Hmh, maybe getting an authenticator? They are not that expensive, plus you get a pet Core Hound

Oh crap.. I have two exes of The Battle Chest, how am I to know which one is for my account O_o .. incase I get hacked.

I got hacked back a few days before last christmas. Wasn't so bad. I had a nice laugh and moved on, got my account back the day after anyway. No big deal.

I just know it, im going to be the unlucky one where somthing goes horribly wrong, its always me >_<

Erm, nah, I was hit by a fist in the back of the head by someone that I -thought- was one of my friends, they tryed to beat me up for reasons unknown.

As usual when someone tryes to do that, they fail, as did he, now he is propably sitting in his bed aching in pain after being beaten into a bloody puddle.

Anyway, I hope my items come back soon D:
