Inverness, right? Rough place. The only club worthy of the name is a big white padded cell with padded pillars to stop all the pervy middle aged men who hang out there from smashing their teenage victims face off the corners. ^^

Well, some pleasant news for a change! I got accepted by my university! It's surprising as I didn't fill in the form they were still going to send me, but hey, who am I to complain? It also shows that the bureaucracy over there doesn't work as it's supposed to, hahaha!

The ceremony was great Very Happy

My mentor, with whom I have always had a relationship that can't be defined as good, held a short speech about me. She only implicitly stated that I didn't do a lot, said that I had a lot of fun being social with others during class (at the expense of work). She also talked a bit about the sentence which I have uttered more than any others in the past two years to her "Ma'am, it'll be alright", referring to my exams and whatnot. Very Happy

I was voted as the guy most likely to become a millionaire in the yearbook. The head of my department and another teacher of mine had written a sentence about each and every person in the yearbook. Mine saying "Altijd je recht willen halen is een studie op zich, of niet soms?". I have trouble translating the essence of that sentence, but it can be translated as this: "Always wanting to get what's yours is a study in itself, is it not?".

I also just noticed in my yearbook that my mentor is obviously referring to me in 2 general remarks of her, even quoting me at one point. With a few other remarks which can refer to me but also to others. Somehow this makes me like her a bit more than I did in the past.

I'm gonna miss it, I guess.
