By it being a very interesting meeting!

Dalaran is still technically neutral, to my knowledge, and I imagine neutral summits would still be held there.

Forsaken are given new (well, updated) quests to go and kill Dalaran Magi in Ambermill and the Crater, somehow I doubt they'd take too kindly to that. At least in the past it was; "Well, we'll brush that under the rug because of the Lich King" - Now? Not so much.

Would Dalaran revoke its policy of neutrality over that, though? Blood elves have strong political power in Dalaran, and I can imagine they would attempt to delay any change of policy for as long as possible. For now I'd assume the neutral policy is still maintained, if strained (like the Argent Crusade ignoring the Forsaken's actions in the Plaguelands).

Weren't those specific magi allied with or supporting the Alliance, too? That would technically be breaching Dalaran's neutrality clause, and so they might be forced to overlook those incidents as a result (though, again, I'd imagine that relations would be very strained)


Anyway. I would imagine that there would be a continuation of neutral summits to repair/halt the damage, regardless of the current war. The world is still at high risk of further damage considering that, even though things blew up and the quakes stopped, Deathwing, the Twilight's Hammer, and the elemental lords and Old Gods are still out there. World isn't safe yet, and many of the wounds are still open.

Regardless, even if there isn't that sound of a reasoning to hold it, it'd be very fun, because of those heightened hostilities.

That's why we blood elves don't use arcane constructs anymore - they've been outlawed for, oh, 1500 years. It's amusing to me to watch our foes repeat the mistakes of the past. "Mages." Indeed.

I wonder if there are any quests like that from Nelf point of view.
