Naj'wah: Visions of Shirvallah, a new path
Somewhere in the jungle of Stranglethorn Naj'wah nestled herself underneath a tree. Her catlike gaze wandering around before making herself comfortable in the shadows. Sweat could be seen on the young woman's face, combined with a little fatigued smirk. Blood covered her worn leathers and lips. Remains of the prey she just killed together with her faithfull companion Tija.
The Tigress purred lowly and curled up next to the Huntress.
Naj'wah flexed her clawlike fingers once before placing her bow and quiver next to her and closing her eyes aswel. Unable to fight the sleep that was creeping up on her. The huntress' alertness fading rapidly while drifting away.
She fell, into darkness and nothingness. Her head spinning while sudden axienty built up inside her, snapping her eyes wide open she leaps up. Standing in her typicall crouch she narrows her eyes and peers around.
Nothing .....
She's no longer in The Vale ... she's alone in a deserted and empty unknown land.
The huntress fights back the panic she feels raging in her veins. A low hiss escaping her lips while she starts running.
The scenery remains unchanged, no matter how far or how fast she runs, her breathing becoming uneven while fear takes over and she comes to an halt to turn around. Looking around with a frantic searching gaze.
Out of nowhere she spots the frame of an animal, making its way towards her with slow and prowling steps. Without hesitation Naj'wahs hand reaches to her back to take a hold of her bow ... which is not there. Realising that she is unarmed causes the young woman to snarl visciously while her gaze never leaves the approaching animal.
A few seconds pass while she waits for it to attack her before suddenly recognising the Tigress coming her way. Sighing in relief she whispers her companions name "Tija"
Once the fierce Tigress comes to an halt she sits down and lifts her head to look up at the troll female, staring right into her catlike eyes.
Naj'wah gasps and staggers backwards before bowing her head in respect and kneeling down.
"Forgive me my ignorance I have mistaken you for my companion"
The tiger does not move, nor does it advert it's stern gaze upon the woman who keeps her head lowered. Never looking up to return the gaze. Her low tone filled with respect and worship as she whispers the name of the Loa infront of her.
"Shirvallah"
"Rise huntress, and listen to my words. Today you will take a new path. When you wake up you no longer will be blessed by my gifts ... your time as one of my children has come to an end."
With a startled expression Naj'wah gets back to her feet, fear showing in her wide spread eyes.
"What does that mean? Have I wronged you Mighty Shirvallah?"
The Tiger looks up with what seems like a smirk, baring it's teeth. Something that sounds like a chuckle coming from between it's fangs.
"You have not Naj'wah of the Darkspears, the Loa have chosen a different path for you. One of which I will no longer guide you"
Without further explanation Shirvallah rises to his feet and turns around, not giving Naj'wah a chance to ask another question. Leaving her in this deserted land, alone ... abandoned by the Loa whom she has followed for eternity.
Back in Stranglethorn the young huntress suddenly opens her eyes, awakening from her dream with a loud gasp, inhaling deeply and filling her longues with air.
"Oh ... a dream ... nothing but a dream Ti....TIJA?"
With a swift agile jump Naj'wah gets to her feet, strapping her bow and quiver onto her back with quick and skilled hands while scanning around for her companion.
Nearly sprinting forward when she sees the small shadow in the distance but she freezes in her tracks. Her hand dropping to her side with sudden realisation.
Tija sits on a small hill, looking at Naj'wah. The fierce tigress lifts her head upwards so she faces the sky and roars, one final time. A final goodbye.
Naj'wah knew, she could feel it that this was the last time that she would see Tija. Parting her own lips she answers the feral roar with all her thanks and respect woven into the sound.
And then she turned around, running into the deepest parts of the vale while hot tears of frustration and confusion run down her bloodstained face. Feeling alone and empty.
"It was not a dream ...."
No longer a blessed child of Shirvallah.... what path had the Loa chosen that they left her unguided with their gifsts?

No more Tija indeed * sulks*
Naj's faithfull companion for 5 years has chosen her own path now, as always said in rp, naj'wah did not own her, it was the loa blessing her with the company of the tigress.
