As people seem to express interest in this type of discussion. I made a threat, HOWEVER, if anybody derails, flames, argues, you can FUCK OFF FROM MY THREAD. Or I will personally see the Brotherhood lynch your dumb QQing ass off the nearest tree in SW. That is not a racist remark but a threat to QQer's. Constructive criticism always welcome.


Personally, before fully studying I can't clasify myself as anything YET but so far I lean towards Marxism - Leninism. This suits me most and works with my beliefs.

Interesting threat. Politcally however I don't really have any sway or opinion. It's all generally a load of bollocks. In any form of government lean, dictatorship, or idealism someone always gets screwed over. So I simply look out for myself and mine. The rest of the world can get along as it pleases.

Aye but you see that can already be labelled, personally I am not one to label unless I see you with a certain "tabard" representing your beliefs. I would also consider myself a bit more moderate than actual Bolshevism, but I would stick to the whole discipline, strict elite part of it.

My opinion reflects that of Jay, politics is usually a bunch of crap, alot of promises that will be broken and alot of talk and too little work done. I`d rather stand out for myself than put myself in any category, although I wish democrasy is what it really should be, then probably I would be one.

Although that cannot be applied in modern day to our current situation, I believe in it fully and it holds value to me for something to kind of "follow".

I'm just trying to state facts. I have nothing personal against people with opinions differing to mine. The fact is, there are people who keep those promises, there are people who make changes. Be it changes not everybody agrees with , politics is an imperfect creature of humanity that needs carving and moulding into something that can function . Democracy currently seems to be the "way to go", although I think USA profiteer of there imperialistic outlook on the world, but thats just me.

Politics today are mostly sensationalist muddy centralism.
The old L vs R blocks are archaeic and largely irrelevant, and I for one refuse to stick a label of some sort on my forehead ^^

You state society is important. Why is society important?

Society is important for future developement. Okay so you split people up, feelings dwindle to tribal instincts. Survival of the fittest. Which in that case means we would be dominate by "Alpha" male/females and run around painted blue. Anarchism would take hold. I don't know if you want Anarchism, but I like having some form of rights, votes, etc. If that didn't answer your question, try be a bit more specific xD

If you have a king who beheads at his will, everyone is just part of a "society" because they have a common factor in their lives, namely living under the threat of being beheaded. It's not really any different from not having a society at all.

I`d rather follow my own path in life than the dictated path that some party decides for us to take, with no offense I think that both Lenin, Marx, Stalin and all those who have proclaimed that any form of socialism/communism are one of the worst things that has happened on this plannet.

How do I know? I come from a country that has been a satelite republic of the USSR for nearly 60 years and I`ve experienced all the joys such leadership can provide. Everything in those ideologies is an illusion which the people who have nothing else to belive in, do. How is that possible? Ah, fairly easy. Stalin had a saying. "There is a man, there is a problem. There is no man, there is no problem."

In socialism, marxism, communism even, the very first step is to remove all the intelligence from the play, so that there might be noone to voice his concern when the ones that lead the party bring down the country in poverty and get filthy rich in the process. Then you are left with all the retarded sheep which simply follow.

Thats why I`ll stick to myself, because all these ideals which so many ideologies proclaim are fake, an illusion, and the people following and beliving in them are narrow minded morons. Thats why you are better on your own, working for yourself in the hope to bring a better future for your family and yourself.

I concur with Chase. I'm not sure a topic like this belongs on an RP forum. Sure it is General chat. But politics and religion discussions always end up with arguments, no matter how subtle you try to be.

I come from Estonia. My relatives range from Ukraine to Russia itself. I know all about this. The thing is, you witnessed corrupted Marxism. Lenin , Trotsky, Marx were driven by an actual passion to save the working class from oppression by Monarchism and Imperialism. Stalin was not Socialist or Communist. He was nothing , in fact I would think he was Imperialist. The initial aim was to reduce to value of such things as money, and provide a Utopia. To abolish class, abolish this bourgeoisie bullshit for Ministers rolling around in money. To each there own. Personally I am Anti-Stalinist and only believe in the pure ideal logy that actually benefits people. But yes, history saids allot differently and accepting Marxism for some, especially Eastern European satellite states is probably impossible. And to conclude, Ukraine is a country which NEEDS control. Because people are greedy and pathetic over there, it requires a strict disciplined system which will show people their own potential, and I witnessed this need personally. And I hope you can take my word for it ^^

All moderns philosophies, political religious or whatever, lure people to it by telling them they're some sort of elite who has risen above the masses of sheep.

Communism, Scientology, Nazism, Neocons, you name it.

Explain to me the one where Nazism does. It shows no elite. It shows superiority above other races and the extermination or use of other races. In Nazism the "lesser" races would be considered nothing.

Nazism were obviously a closed club for whities, but it was based on the supremacy of the arian over the lesser mudbloods.
Ie, "come join us, you're special, those other guys are the source of your daily troubles, we'll help you get even".

It's the exact same thing.
An interlectual elite ruling over ignorant peasants (who weren't allow to educate themselves) vs a guy from the Partei telling a group of polish slavelabors what to do - I don't see the difference.

I'm very liberal in my thinking. I belive people should be free to do as they chose and that any "state" should be very small and handle social security. Basicly, working should matter, being rich shouldn't be punished by additional taxes (and no, I am far from rich, right now I have maybe 200euro to my name, am unemployed and not a student, will soon cancel my sub if nothing gets fixed).
I also think that you should have the right to chose what you work with, what you eat for dinner, aswell as what hospital you want to use.

I also know that economics is one of the highest driving factors for humanity. Or rather, egoism is. It becomes economics as economics is a driving factor for making money. Which leads to egoism.
I belive in systems that encurages the making of money on both personal and bigger basis. Something more leftist thinking does not, it's all "Let's come together and pool our money and be fun and happy" but hey, Humans are selfish, it doesn't work, stop being stupid and realise it. (you can't find a single communist/deep socialistic country that's well off. I don't really count China as communistic anymore as huge bases of it is so capitalisticly driven that it's just a joke to the whole ideology).

Idealisticly I would want to be an anarcist. But, I know that once again due to humans being selfish it wouldn't work.

Politics, as I imagine, have their time and place. There is no perfect political flavor. Everything has it's time and it's place. It's just that humans are by nature unable to determine the time and the place for a certain political flavor.
