Aslong as there is a daemonic host involved its not heresy, even if there is no daemonic host involved it still may not be heresy aswell, for reference the Ben Counter "Grey Knights" series in which many situations in which the Grey Knights fought alongside with the Inquisition representatives did not involve deamons but purely heretics led by a chaos champion which was not possesed.

After all, them Daemon hunters might be the best fighters in the Imperium of Man when it comes to facing warp entities and threats from the above mentioned warp, it doesnt mean they will do a poor job at facing less heretical material!
