My job is a fountain of stress. Firstly, I am really grateful to have a job, but it doesn't mean I can't be frustrated by the complete lack of training I've been given. I'm constantly having to run for the manager or a fellow waiter or anyone to ask questions as simple as where I can find a certain bottle of wine.

It's a reasonably fancy restaurant, and the customers expect me to know the answers to detailed questions, and too often I end up looking foolish and surely making them roll their eyes.

Argh.

Now I feel like a total pussy to moan about my mere 6 hour shifts ;( But working in a busy kitchen isn't easy! I'm hardly a chef and was put on starters on my first shift! I'm constantly asking questions and learning to groan whenever I hear the sound of another ticket coming through! Yet the training is going well, even if my evenings are mostly stolen from WoW at the moment. :/ oh and the cleaning after all the cooking SUCKS. Especially when I'm halfway through cleaning my station and another ticket comes through...

I mean who comes in for a 3 course meal at 11 o'clock!?!?! Grrr

Ah, makes me wish that bitch of a teacher I had hadn't been such a whore that I had to quit my Chef education, I enjoyed working in the kitchen for most of the times.
