I HATE you right now!

I eat as well as my fucked up mentality towards food allows me to, I hit the gym regularly, but due to the sheer amount of Predisolone (A Steroid) I've needed over the years to keep my asthma in check I am almost doomed to a life of being a fat bastard!

Mind I'm a FIT fat bastard, always fun to put much healthier looking people to shame on the football field or in the gym on the machines and weights. Loved the 5 a side tournament the other day with a load of very fit players on other teams who laughed at my team (All slightly larger lads, but ones that are fit with it) and we had better stamina and were much quicker than they were, hence we made it to the final, sadly lost due to a stupid Ref but still!

The Virgin media thing is because of an issue between them and Telia, estimated fix is tomorrow morning. I've managed to bypass the issue by using a trial of battleping, 1 disconnect per hour is better than horribble lag and dc every 3mins

Can't say my problems with Virgin media have been solely WoW based though. It's been a mixture of that and web pages loading at a snail's pace. Think the lines around here are just wank.

Telia is a tier 1 provider. Virgin is their customer. Seems odd if this was an issue that lies within the Telia core, since it would affect more than just one ISP, it would be more like this. Smile

ehm... I really doubt that. It is certainly possible that the issue is Telia's but I doubt it because of the following reasons:

1. If it affects only one transit it is far more likely that the issue it at their side.
2. Hollidays, virtually no work is being done except for emergencies ofc.
3. If they knew exactly what was the issue and it was a config it would be fixed within minutes rather than hours.
4. The whole "handle their packets" explanation seems dodgy. There isn't much handling of the packages involved other than sending them different places.
5. Some traffic seems to pass so it clearly doesn't affect all traffic.

But enough of reason in the vent thread...
