Alien Swarm: New free steam game.

The tactic we used on insane was to stack adrenaline, using them whenever it gets greasy, and medic used the medic gun rather than the heal beacon since we never really stopped, but we didn't hurry, either. I usually play officer but I found special weps a lot better for this tactic, since minigun is more reliable than shotty and you don't spend as much time reloading. Your team needs to be ready to supply you with ammo though, cause if you hold on to your ammo too much, someone dies (you could use the ammo beacon yourself but in this case I carried the turret).

But yeah, teslas and flamethrowers ftw. We didn't weld any doors but we had a sentry with us for when we had to stop at one place. And again, bring your adrenaline! With two people carrying it, you've probably got enough slow mo for almost all the tight spots on the mission.

Wow you guys over-react your tactics for insane. All we did was all equip tesla cannons.

Myself as special weapons[Didn't even need the autogun though]
Mikasa as tech[DOOR WIELDING HEROZ]
Veia as the medic[No medic gun needed apart from one level]
Noxie as officer[She carried our ammo!]

We basically pushed and stopped at each plausible point. There we no special equipment needed or anything drastic in tactics. Insane isn't as hard as people make it out. Once you figured out the level it's rather a walk in the park.

PS: Me and Noxie carried hornet rockets which cleared the hardest part of a level. Nor was adrenaline used until faaar into our insane spree. Second last level to be exact.

It had it coming which I am fine with. It's meant to be a stunning support weapon anyway.
