Flashback : an idea for a series of draenic events

Concept

Flashback will be a serie of events organised in some part of Outland for Draenei only, could be extended however to some orcs and some blood elves.
The events would happen before the crash of the Exodar on Azeroth, before the Draenei leave Outlands.


Why role play Flashback events ?

Something I’ve noticed with Draenei role player, is that when we meet a Draenei for the first time OOC, we also consider to meet him for the first time IC, while it seem more logical to have meet each other atleast on the Exodar among the rescapees.

I think it would be interesting to develop relations between Draenei character before the crash happen that we could use for our “normal” RP. This would give Draenei character more past, and build relationship before and after the crash.
Draenei are refugies on Azeroth and should have build a kind of tight community, or atleast greet each others, recognise each other as a population of refugies of same country are forming quickly when migrated in a same town.
Even if we don’t know each single Draenei who have survived the crash, it seem to me important that we know each other better. After all with suh a long life, and such hardship Draeneis have encounter, they obviously know atleast by name or view the major part of the Exodar crash survivors.


Which event ?

This series of event will be organised time to time, and can be extremely simple like a “day in Zagarmarch” to more complex like world PVP event “ Battle with the orcs”. This obviously need to fit the pre crash lore, and then not all areas of Outland can be used, we ill have to select the ones who fit the best.



To fit the Lore…

Any help would be welcome to fit the Lore and imagine nicely made events in possible areas of outland, (as I’m myself not a specialist).

We can use the orcs of the Red Blade to pose for orcs, hehe. As they did in Redridge once. I like the idea, Elloa, and would gladly join your cause. Count me in.

Will have to rework my RP outfit then. I wear alliance colors at the mo.

Nice idea, though there aren't much Draenei RP'ers.
Maybe I'll log on my Spacegoat again after a century or two for this.

And a very solid and interesting idea, which got me considering about leveling another Draenei. I had a total of 4 at one point, all past level 50, 2 80s >> Alas, different servers.

The number issue is just worrying me a tad. Maybe a campign to buff up the Draenei numbers alittle first? Would be interesting and fun, something to keep the server as a whole busy until the Big C.

So yeah, for obvious reasons I'm very interested in this idea. Admittedly neither of my existing Draenei characters were with other Draenei at the time (one due to self-imposed exile, the other due to.. Well, plot details) but I suppose that depends how you end up planning out the "timeline". Even if not I'd be glad to just provide a "Generic Draenei Female" for plot-purposes.

This, I can help with. Just poke me in-game and I can answer pretty much any question you can think of on the subject.

Maybe a survive type of RP event, A band of blood thirsty orcs has our little gathering cornered. Limited supplys, armour and weaponing, not to mention the numbers. Maybe call it, " Archnimondes Choke " or something equally as epic.

I'll update you with this plan (I'm serious about it)

1. I'll not do any Draenei guild. My character is in <Whitestar> and this is my little baby guild, so I'll not change it even for a super awsome idea. Also, this project doesn't need any guild to work, it's even more interesting I think if Draenei are splitted after the crash. So the memories of what once was the Draenei community and which is no more will be more nostalgic maybe. Our different Draenei character, when they will cross each other again in the street of Stormwind can share their memories etc...
And last there is already <Ere Argus>.

2. I've now read a lot about the Draenei Lore and I'll read more. I think it will be interesting to make different events during the differents key moments of the Draenei Lore. Before the genocide, when they hide in Zangarmash, problems with the broken, the "illumination" of Nabundo, when they fight against the Blood Elves etc etc

3. More and more I think about this, more and more I find it interesting. there is maybe not so much Draenei role players, but quantity is not so important. What would be awsome however, is to build our memories together. Because this will be wood for future Cataclysm role play. Our Draenei character will be build with more deepth. Draenei is very challenging to role play I think, this will help us, to build atleast a little part of our past.
Also, this can make alife a little bit of Outland which have no more reason to be Rped at the moment, and which had always been negleted even along TBC, the rp events in Outland were rare.

4. I've already my idea of first event. I'll prepare it nicely, and announce it here, once I've fixed my internet I think it will be cool
