[A][10/05] Draenei Warcouncil

While Garrosh Hellscream and his Kor'kron have been defeated, the Horde continues to attack the Alliance in minor skirmishes and through vile schemes; The Draenei cannot stand idle while our allies are threatened, but it is not our way to engage rashly in renewed conflicts.

For this reason, we call for a public summit of Draenei who have fought the Horde on Azeroth, to reach a consensus about the right path ahead for our people, and if need be, lay the groundwork for a voluntary expeditionary force to assist the Alliance on foreign soil.

The meeting will be held within the Vault of Lights on the evening of May 10th, overseen by Farseer Sanara.

But the Draenei have relatively little presence in the continuing conflict, as we keep to ourselves and often don't get involved unless necessary, so this initiative hopes to bring Draenei volunteers and soldiers alike together to assist the Alliance, while at the same time giving the Draenei roleplaying community an excuse to get together and do something active.

I don't intend for this to be a solely Ere Argus "thing", as we are not and never will be a military guild, but we might pick up where we left off back in Lich King and start occasionally bringing our crystal hammers down on fools in the RP-PvP scene again. There's just nothing quite as majestic as an Elekk charge.

The meeting will be on Saturday May 10th, at 20:00 in the Vault of Lights, by the Battlemasters next to Prophet Velen.

A group of sisters heeded the call and met at the Prophet's rise in the Vault of Lights; Vindicator Tacifer of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and Sergeant Elrua of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] led the debate, with the Vindicator in favour of less Draenei involvement in Alliance affairs, but sister Elrua's pro-Alliance views held majority support.

By the decision of the Matriarch and the agreement of the majority of sisters present, Sergeant Elrua was asked to represent Draenei interests in the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], a task which she accepted with the condition of Anchoress Shiiri assisting her if she requires it. No objection or opposing voice was raised, and she was blessed by Farseer Sanara in the Light's name, in the hopes she may speak for the Draenei and further the aid they provide to the Alliance.
