From the ensuing war in Northrend the name of “The Hand of Vengeance” tempered many foes working with the Vanguard of the Horde. Alas, today – forsaken society has lost a great proportion of its forces to the calls of the Frozen North, with the Hand of Vengeance remaining to watch its frozen wastes. A void has lingered in Forsaken Society. Forsaken Society with all the tools, machines and accoutrements that could tame so many and aid so many has been silently lacking – with no Hand to conduct the weapons of war for the Dark Lady.
“The Kingdom of Lordaeron” attempted to take up this mantle, but was festered and putrefied by its first leader. Its reputation stained and broken before its ambitious goals could be met. It is with no surprise such an order was ordered to be exhumed, forgotten and terminated from existence.
Once more, the Void of nothingness filled the war bands of the Horde, the voice of the Graven Throne falling silent. Yet from the darkness stirs a new conductor for the forsaken war-effort….
The Hand of Damnation - sister of Vengeance, the renewed Forsaken War-effort.

The Hand of Damnation is an Apothecary centric heavy rp forsaken guild. It is to be the sister group of the Hand of Vengeance, the npc group. HoD specialises in forsaken warfare, from a magical, military and apothecary perspective, to which the guild has three separate faculties to account for these strengths. The Hand of Damnation combines its academic strengths of the “Faculty of Science and the “Faculty of the Dark Arts” to the iron-clad sword of the “Faculty of War” to smites its foes and damn their souls – All for the Glory of the Dark Lady. Its goals are to continue the work of the Royal Apothecary Society, gather the necessary information on its enemies and allies alike and exploit them for Forsaken purposes. HoD is not a traitor of the Horde’s guild, it is simply a forsaken supremacist’s guild. We do not openly support the work of the Ex-Grand Apothecary Putress, or support the teachings of the Holy Light.


In HoD we want everyone to have an active part in guild life. That is why we have created  a “tutorship” – upon joining HoD each respect member is allowed to pick one of our official members to become their tutor. The tutors will give the member tasks that will further the characters story – each member will work with the officer team to create personalised tasks that will further your forsaken as an individual and strengthen our glorious nation. We aim to make HoD a tight knit community and we feel that this scheme offers just that.

The Faculties:




The Royal Apothecary Society has been a vital part of Forsaken society. It’s burning desire to purge the enemies of the forsaken its driving force – to better the standing of the forsaken, to better the dark sciences the Apothecaries cling to and to better the name of the Dark Lady. Bottles of poisons and plagues, salves for healing and the dream of a cure for undeath– The Society works tirelessly.



The Faculty of Science is not picky in who is accepts. Any forsaken with an iron bent will to learn and harvest knowledge for the glory of the Forsaken Nation is suited to the Society. They must not tire in their loyalty and must have a shrewdness and wit to overcome the inevitable difficulties as an Apothecary of the Dark Lady.

Ranks:

Arch-Apothecary: The Arch-Apothecary is the leader of the “Hand of Damnation”. He/she should be a commanding presence, who oversees the work of the “Faculty of Science” and their research as well as commanding the Hand as a whole. They are stead-fast loyal to the Forsaken nation. The Arch-Apothecary is the chair-person of the Hand’s council, their final word is undisputed. This rank hold maximum security clearance.
Rank Holder: Dr. Haluthious Vouten.

High Apothecary : The High Apothecaries maintain order within the ranks of the Faculty. They direct the Junior Apothecaries and Apothecaries themselves, watching their development and watching the outcomes of their work, noting that the direction of their work is in line with the intentions of the Arch-Apothecary. This rank holds maximum security clearance.
Rank Holder: Miss Nalesli Morgan.

Apothecary: The Apothecaries are the majority of the force of the Faculty. They are sharp individuals with an eye for science. The Apothecaries are branched off into the departments of “Research and Development”, “Implantation” and “Testing.” The Apothecaries are assigned tasks from the research program outlined by the Arch-Apothecary. This rank holds variable security clearance depending on the Grade of the Apothecary – Apothecaries are graded from 1-3.

The Faculty of War is a vital force of the Hand of Damnation. Led by the Executioner, the faculty takes care of every task given by the Leaders of the Hand, from testing new substances in action to bringing more testing subjects to the reeking depths of apothecarium. While being the “hand” of the other Faculties, the Faculty of War’s  unique role within the organisation is protection of the Graven Throne, and all its children.  Should there be foes the Arch-Apothecary would like to see assassinated, the Executor will gladly send one or more of his best slayers to make it happen. The Faculty of War stops at nothing to protect the “Hand” and its nation – loyalty and a hunger for war make this Faculty an imposing force.



The Faculty of War accepts nearly every forsaken willing to serve the Hand of Damnation to their ranks, though there are some requirements that every member fulfil. Firstly, each applicant must be a forsaken willing to obey every command he was given. Basic combat training is always welcome, however it is not required, as the art of fighting is a matter of training and time rather than talent. Cowardice is unforgivable, just as disobedience. True Death will be the price for those who carry out these trespasses.

Ranks:

Executioner: The Executioner is the Leader of the Faculty of War. They are unquestionable by everyone but Arch-Apothecary. His loyalty is unshakeable, his wrath is unbearable and his vengeance is unavoidable -- Commanding the Faculty with an iron fist, this war-machine stops at nothing to achieve its goals.
Rank Holder: Sedah Grimshade.

Captain: Right hand of the Executioner, a proven slayer of the Vanguard. The Executioner always chooses only the most capable and trustworthy forsaken to be his Captains, to be his voice and blade in the Executioner's absence.

Deathblade: A Veteran combatant of the Faculty of War. They have built their reputation on endless dedication to accomplish their directives. Strong will, together with deadly skills in combat and never-ending stamina are the weapons on the Deathblade.

Rotblade: Rotblades, together with Deathblades, constitutes the main force of the Faculty. Rotblades have still much to learn, though they have already proven their usefulness, hence they are given rather simple tasks such as hunting down humanoids and locking them in cages so that they can serve the apothecaries in any way they are commanded.

Minion: One of those ranks you'll never forget being in. A lackey of the Hand of Damnation, a meatshield in the times of war. A Minion must grow a backbone to get through these trying times and to get promoted.


The Faculty of Dark Arts utilise their immense wealth of knowledge of arcane and other magical powers to aid the Hand of Damnation. The Faculty pushes it members to the brink of what each individual can suffer, testing their limits and to conquering those limits. The Faculty of Dark Arts interests itself in all things concerning magic, thirsting for its academic quantification, it therefore scours the lands for items of power, relics of the past.  Power and knowledge, is the currency of this faculty – with little respect for its repercussions.



The Faculty of Dark Arts reveres those who have a thirst for knowledge of power. The Forsaken within its enclaves are spellcasters of all paths creeds – however are unified in their pursuit of distinguishing themselves through their magical arts. They must be able to set aside their selfish lusts of power to aid the Dark Lady and her peoples. They must be able to respect the authority of their superiors and know the boundaries of polite Forsaken Society.

Ranks:

Witch-Lord: The Witch-Lord commands the work of the Faculty of Dark Arts, his only superior is the Arch-Apothecary himself. They are an aged figure in the fields of magic. Their thirst of power and knowledge is great, overwhelming and perhaps encompassing. They conduct their matters with a strict and ruling hand, outlining the work of the Faculty. The Witch-Lord represents this faculty on the Council -- suffering and damnation upon those who align themselves against the Witch-Lord.
Rank Holder: Lord Diederich Northcliffe.

Dread Instructor: The Dread Instructors are the Junior officer ranks of the Faculty of Dark Arts. They are tasked by the Witch-Lord of ensuring the forsaken in its care are focused and motivated on the correct  course of action. The Dread Instructors oversee the research of the scholars and direct wayward scholars back to their calling.

Dread Scholars: The Dread Scholars are the majority of this faculty. They are assigned research topics by their superiors, lend aid to the Apothecarium and the Military were applicable. Forsaken of an educated background in magic are suited to this faculty.  Promising Dread Scholars can achieve the ranks of “Fellows” in a number of magical areas, and become the lead in this field of magic.

A tad harsh so I will modify. A congratulations is in order for you to have bonded the remaining Forsaken player base and continued to fill the void of Forsaken RP. You have a natural affinity for such and I hope you continue to be successful and prosperous, nothing but praise is sent your way from other people that discuss KoL-HoD and what-not.
