IC overview

Many years ago after joining the Disciples of light, Falrock Thilliath was knighted by Aarian Northlight. After been noticed by the King and earning promotions within the Stormwind army, he was ordered by the King to make the Blazing Shields regiment of foot to help counter the Alliances growing enemies. Many years have passed and after recently returning from campaigns abroad the Blazing Shields have returned to Stormwind and are beginning to rebuild.

Brief OOC overview

We are the Blazing Shields, a heavy roleplaying guild based on the Defias Brotherhood server on World of Warcraft.

We hold true to military roleplay as much as possible, performing regular roleplaying drills, missions and RP events. We welcome any members of the public to RP with our members at any time.

What we do?

We focus primarily on drill, formation and combat operations. Though many guilds on here are great no doubt about it, we take most pride and focus in our discipline and drilling schemes and i like to think that we are the best at it. In fact, it is one of the primary ways we earn recruits is through out interesting drilling system.

Additional information

Though we have just returned to WoW, we have many of our old veterans flocking to us once more with many people recognizing our return and welcoming us back.

The future

Been the Blazing Shields, one of our main principles embedded into the body of the guild is to advance to an ever greater level of roleplay. We are always brainstorming for new great things to happen with in the guild, we are currently working on setting up an intelligence division, alliances with other roleplaying guilds OOCly and ICly, more drills and in the future we hope for some world RP\PVP events.

We want to work with you!

Our guild believes deeply in the importance of friendship OOCly with other guilds, we frown upon our members or members from different guilds bad mouthing one another and we are ALWAYS seeking to roleplay with other guilds, big or small depending the roleplay is comfortable for us. We've even done missions set up by singular people outside the guild for fun, while making sure the level of RP is still acceptable. We are looking for cross-faction RP guilds to commune with, general guildless people and members of the Alliance to roleplay with and make friends with providing their RP is good and comfortable for us.

We are always trying to lengthen our friends list, but we are also always up for making OOC relationships with criminal RP guilds so we can RP as enemies. After all, too many good guys if you ask me! We need someone to fight!
