Darkspear Guild

Seeing the upcoming content in 5.3, I decided to dust off my inactive priest and turn him into a Troll. I've also had in mind starting up a Darkspear guild, as Darkspear RP is lacking - when it should be around with the current lore! I know one existed but I don't think they're active anymore (correct me if I'm wrong). I've got about three people interested in helping so far, so if you have any suggestions or want to help do give me a shout. Thanks!

There is one already, not sure how active they are.
Troll and Gnome RP has almost always been a bit on the lacking side.
Then again that could probably be said for Goblin, Dwarven (Outside TTH), and Tauren too.
No, won't name Draenei there, because there's plenty of Draenei, just Draenei that doesn't know what a Draenei is.

Ah, thanks, I had no luck tracking any of them down the other day and couldn't find any obvious signs of activity on here or the realm forums, so thats great.

I have a mutual friend of ours on Skype. As far as I know, he did quit the game. But who knows honestly, if you're truly interested!

I highly recommend starting is as an interest group and using a chat channel for communication, organizing events and letting guilded Darkspear's gather and the like, then slowly develop into a guild with a core membership.

Make sure to use the realm forum and advertise, very important aspects if you want to get people from the actual population of Defias Brotherhood (and not just DefiasRP).

More than likely from DefiasRP you'll get alts, chances of getting a main from the realm itself is more likely.

The darkspear tribe has been picking up in activity a little lately what with me and another guy joining it
Either way, there is also the ingame DSTrolls channel for darkspear trolls.

Also @ Vangrel, Kamoho hasn't been the GM for 5 months, that's Ildranor nowadays

I spoke to someone from the existing one just now, and we're thinking of just all joining (We'd have potentially 7 members already) together to make a new one, but if things change i'll inform those interested. Also, the channel that i'm currently in is just simply Darkspear. Whether that was the same as the DSTrolls one, i'm not sure, but Rizhan - who I spoke to - invited me to that one.

Both serve pretty much the same purpose. Darkspear got made due to continuous locking of DSTrolls, but that hasn't happened for ages. It miiiiight have also been more of a 'guild channel' rather than a 'darkspear channel', but I'm not sure on that.

DSTrolls is in public chat channel lists, though, while Darkspear is not. May be a plus!

So the guild is up now, but we just decided to join the current existing one, and help the active members get it up and run again. Expect to see us about.
