[April Fools!]: The Flame and Chapter rise together!

The Scarlet approached him, warily.. “Here.. see for yourself..”. Looking upon the tablet now handed to him, his eyes widened as he kept staring at it in disbelief. How could this be true? What heresy has been committed?! “We must show this to Dragomir as soon as we can!”

And so they stood upon the altar of the holy Cathedral of Stormwind together, Chapterian and Crusader, shaking hands. Sharing sermons and prayers. The time for change has come and Stormwind.. will never be the same again.

The Chapter of Holy Anethion and The Crimson Flame have decided to merge their guilds together! And such will be ICly revealed in an event tonight at 21:00!

Their IC goals and purposes were very alike already and instead of fighting against each other, we will fight true heretics instead! We’ve decided to unite under a new guild name; <The Imperial Inquisition>.

ICly a tablet has been found dictating that the half-elf prophet, Anethion, was infact a human crusader. And his teachings were misintrepited by their followers. Anethions’ teachings have been given a slight Scarlet touch, and the Scarlet way is now Anethions’ way. We will follow both the customs of witch-hunters and scarlet crusaders in one and become witch-knights.

With our combined forces we are now one of the biggest, if not the biggest RP guild on the server and as such, due to our goals, there will be dramatic changes for the RP community of Defias.

A preview of things to come;

- All religions but Anethions’ way will be illegal to practice upon the Cathedral square mainly, but in whole of Stormwind. For example, druids cannot use any form of druidic magic.
- All non-humans are banned from the Cathedral square. They are free to RP elsewhere in SW though.
- The Council will be taken a new way, with our guildmembers are councilors. The next meeting we shall capture them, nail them to a cross one-by-one and burn them alive. They have given consent as they will be rerolling alts in our guild. (Save for a few, but everyone has to make sacrifices.)
- We will work to having <The Scarlet Crusade> disbanded by outlawing them and non-stop hunting them. Once they do, we shall reserve the guildname.
- Epic events! We’ll host more Horde battles, we’ll have a more uniform style, it will all be better, all-in-all.

Here under is a ingame screenshot dicating the new outfit and new style of our guilds. Expect Dragomir to make a post here soon. We have quite a plottwist as we, together, intend to resurrect an old hero of the Alliance for our cause! More soon!

Holy shit... I didn't expect this one xD Although it is really awesome! I can't wait until this happens IC'ly! Also, i wonder how we Disciples shall react on this. It'll make a helluva lot of drama in our order IC'ly :3

I have but one question about this though, what'll happen to guilds like DoL, who've got a completely different view of the Light than you guys do?

Tbh, you don't. It's just the way you choose to believe in it.
But server lore-wise, Anethion was a prophet of the light, his teachings wide-spread in the Alliance community.

Either you join us or you will be converted forcefully, of course ^.^

On one side, this sounds like something that will stirr up the rp in SW, especialy no non-humans in the cathedral square and banning of other religions.

It has been hard to move away from the Chapter, as the very name of it is indelibly branded on the back of my eyes in flaming letters which herald the eternal damnation of all heretics. Discussion on the RP forums has turned up the fact that Stormwind -should- be Fanatical and it is this principle that the Crimson Flame and the Chapter stand united upon.

World of Warcraft is a great game and its lore is deep (comics are still heresy). Officers of the Chapter and the Flame see it as our sworn duty as prominent members of the RP community to encourage connaisseur appreciation of Warcraft's lore and we therefore moved to encourage medieval ignorance, zealotry and superstition in Stormwind.

We also hope that banning of Non-humans from the Cathedral Square will encourage the creation of RP hubs outside Stormwind and trigger a rise of great and creative individuals who are hitherto overshadowed by the big-wigs of Stormwind Role-play. Although we hate you ICly for compromising Humanity's chances of grandeur, we fully support and respect you OOCly!

We also hope that the name of the Imperial Inquisition will be more familiar and appealing to people acquainted with Warhammer universe, as name of the Chapter is sadly complicated and Crimson Flame implies connection to the Demon-posessed crusaders. We hope to see our numbers swell.
