Now my real vent; I have an exam on monday, the book I need for that exam was sold out at uni, ordering it from my go to e-store would take me 3 days minimum to get it, so I ordered it from amazon, for money, so I could have it arrive today. It's not fucking here yet D:

Also, lecture about (in part) neuropathology is making me regret the doner sandwhich I just declared would be my dinner. Why are delicious things so bad for you?!

Applied for a job in a Norwegian sports shop. Had a nice chat to the manager and tried to impress him in Norwegian... Mentioning how bad I was at Norwegian with him giving me a confused "What?!" before explaining I spoke bad Norwegian (In English). I didn't think much of it until later.

Later on in the night I meet up with a Norwegian friend and mentioning the bad Norwegian part to where he laughs at me and corrected me that I was mispronouncing the word for "bad"... Apparently I told the manager in the shop I was applying to that I was.... Very delicious.

TLDR: I told a potential boss that I was "Very Delicious" in Norwegian.

Dear Spain,

Yours is, quite frankly, a quite a beautiful country. Who would not like the Spanish beaches? Who would not enjoy the parties at Ibiza? Who would not appreciate one of the beautiful Spanish ladies, of which there are many, that reside in your country? Yours is a country of history. I'd like to talk about that.

In my opinion Spain is subject to one of the great ironies of history. You see, when the Romans conquered you they started stripping Spain of its precious metals. They did this with mining operations that would not be equaled until the Industrial Revolution. Spain, in turn, stripped the New World of its precious metals. It shipped great amounts of gold and silver from the New World back to Spain, much like the Romans did to Spain and Italy respectively. The difference between the Romans in Spain and Spain in the New World is this: The Romans never did quite seem to get the same horrible inflation as Spain did. Yes, you were the victim of massive inflation and it was all your own fault. You were an idiot, but to be fair, inflation's a tricky thing. It doesn't make you any less of an idiot though.

Let's fast forward to 2012. You have airports that have never been used (near Valencia, for example). You have an airport that has been used, but is way too big for the region (again, near Valencia). You've got soaring unemployment. Your finances are a complete and utter mess. Your work ethic doesn't seem to amount to anything respectable with your siesta's. Now though there's the ECB to save you. The ECB has generously offered to buy short-term Spanish government bonds of an unlimited quantity. All you have to do is apply for aid. Doing that will very likely ensure that you'll start solving your problems. Sure, you'll be visited like the Troika just like Ireland and Greece, but what's pride when your economy is on the line?

...And then I hear your Prime Minister saying you're not going to apply for aid. Even worse, he's saying he's not going to touch pensions even though a whole lot of economists say that the pension system needs reforming.

Really, Spain, Really? Just fucking fulfill the conditions the ECB sets already. PROVE THAT YOU'RE NO LONGER AN IDIOT LIKE THE ONE YOU WERE 400 YEARS AGO. DO. NOT. FUCK. US. ALL. OVER.

Im meant to be traveling in nine days and my visa isn't out yet

and Im so happy about that. I dont want to fucking travel i want to stay in kuwait and just sleep in my bed all day long and die and rot here.

i dont want to leave Sad

Im gonna miss my mom and sister and my friends so much. i was always like "fuck ya yalla let's get out of here" but now that it's actually happening ... :'( ugh I bet england is gonna suck bigtime too

That said, Shae, this is the digital age. The fact that they're far away does not mean that they're not close-by. You can talk to them whenever you want to, you'll be able to see them a lot thanks to webcams etc too.

They're only physically far away, apart from that; they're close-by.
