Druids and the like

Is there any circle, as Circle of Darnassus, but bent on Druidism and Druidism alone? Something like a group that teaches and helps others by healing the land, treat to the wounded, nurture the animals, protect the citizens of Azeroth against the forces of evil and corruption (Demons, Naga and the like) ?

The Cenarion Circle?

"The Cenarion Circle is an organization of druids, both tauren and night elf, named after Cenarius. Its members are dedicated to protecting nature and restoring the damage done to it by malevolent forces.[1]"

Admittedly from the RPG Sourcebook, Dark Factions.

But it's pretty much the answer I think. Though it seems a bit too obvious...

I don't think an RPG sourcebook is needed to support that statement, Gruff. Plenty of stuff about them ingame. :p

I know, I was just in Wowiki at the time, and writing something about students actually supporting statements with evidence. Thus, I used the tools at my disposal! It would be remiss of me to do otherwise!

That, and I couldn't think of much to say about them, other than their links to Cenarius. And their treehugging ways.

Could it be that he's asking for an ingame player run thing?

It could be. We could ask him? But I'm scared.

I also just realised the irony of asking students for proper sources then using a quote from a Wiki...

atleast you posted the reference source in the wiki article also and not just say "Wiki"

but real people edit or make wiki articles to support their bullshit if you need sources. since what teacher knows your online handle anyway?

And back on topic-ish.
If you are asking for any player organisations that are druidy of nature. I don't think we have anything like that on this server, atleast not anymore, a few months ago there was something like that I think.

There's been some touchy-feely druid type guilds. I think, and some atte,pt at cross-faction Druidic RP too, as far as I remember. But my memory, like my cardigan, is patchy.

Don't be, i won't bite.... much. And wiki is not fail-proof but has some decent descriptions.

Wasn't going for a guild per say, but rather a movement/group. Still, didn't knew there were guilds about druidism.

Does the darnassus circle thing have some elder of nature, or elder of tree hugging that you could ask?

There's the Evergreen Circle but that's a WB thing we have going in the WBs so I dunno if that's relevant or not

I'd definitely suggest contacting Manathon of the Winterblades for Druid-related events!
You could also try Jondalar (?) of Nature's Grasp, though I'm not sure if Nature's Grasp is organised yet, and able to organise events for the community. Still worth a shot to find out!

As said above, Manathon is the boss of that druid organization called the Evergreen Circle, which are affiliated with the Winterblades.

Adelaine used to arrange something like that back when he was an elder in the circle afaik.

I'm pretty sure that's what it was about atleast, cause when I was invited to their meeting it included tauren and night elves, only druids, and it was in moonglade...

I'm assuming nobody else took over the reigns when he stepped down and stopped being so active (atleast I didn't see him around at all after that)

That also seems fitting for a Druid. Meeting in Moonglade i mean. Too bad those meetings ended though. Would love to attend one...

Druid-focused RP sounds like it could be fun. Has some potential for cross-faction RP as well through the Cenarion Circle
