hay are there any good boffins here that can help me with my internet connection?

I click launcher and all I get is :

"Launcher cannot obtain patching information. please check your internet configuration"

any help here? please? Sad

Is there still a manual download? I don' think I used that in a year.

Anyways. First question: do you have a firewall?

Does your IP use a proxy server? Are you sure this protocol is not blocked?

its plugged directly into the modem and IM fairly shure it isnt blocked as I just tried to use the repair function on wow and it still said unable to connect Sad

It could still be a proxy server. But hm. Maybe the servers are overloaded?

Alternatively.. have you set the option "download behind firewall" or something similarly named? It might prove slower but it might help.
