I was thinking, why don't we outlaws work on a "slang" for us criminals, just like it can be found anywhere in the world? Would you like to work on a common one here in this section?

Bizarrely, thats exactly what the Forsaken Gutterspeak is... its meant to be a mix of Common and Dwarvish with a few other words from other languages chucked in, spoken by criminals Smile
I do like the idea, though. I personally use alot of nautical speech to disguise what I say - land lubbers be caught belowdecks on the gabbin's o' those wha' see through tha' squalls 'nd fog.

Slang is usually very subtle, and alot of it has to do with tone of voice and how certain words are pronounced, just don't over-do it where every second word ends "lik' thi' " and it could work well.

Aye, the peasant-types in me crew generally add a wee bit o' nauticalness when their talkin' ta them outside o' the crew.

As fer one o' me gobby shaman, she likes t'add a bit o' an accent t'her speech pattern. T'Captain's appren'ice needs t'be on top o' 'er lingo, y'know?

I won't even begin to speak like a human rogue I RP on. ^^ Her accent in incredibly difficult to understand. XD

I didn't mean the accent, every character has its own. I was thinking more of a gathering of words and phrases to name in another way the cops, the weapons, the drugs and so on, as well as describe criminal acts. You know, criminals don't actually stay "police officer", "dagger", "robbing", "drug-dealing" and so on, they say it in a way only another goodfella could understand.
