I only watched small part of the voting and it was still the same neighbour / friend country ass licking as before.

Eurovision were ass licking back then aswell, but at least the "best" song usually got most votes.

Good for Germany, though one thing I do not understand with this retarded competition is: What the fuck are countries from the middle east doing there, hello Azerbeijan? Kazahzstan? Georgia? Turkey? Russia? Hello? They arent even in the damn European union or continent!1one

The eurovision is hosted by the European Broadcasting Union, which is unrelated to the EU. It has less to do with geography/politics and more to do with which broadcasting networks that cooperate and help each others.

Allez Ola Olé should have gotten us in the top ten at least >:(, it was a delicious song (especially with all the booty shaking from Jessy hawhaw) and didn't deserve to be placed 12th or 13th or whatever!

I feel sorry for the UK fella, I mean...the Cyprus guy was WELSH and lost out to him. Heh!
It's too politically run anyways. 50% of the vote from the public is counted while the others is given by 'country representitives' aka politicians.
We already had enough back in 2008, now this is just going to make things worse. We just got sick and tired of coming last because of political pressure.

It is entirely political and financial. Germany has the best and most secure financial standing in Europe currently, coincidence? I think not. Aye, I loved the song, however, notice how the former satillites all voted for Russia? It's all about who did what for who when. It should be about the music.

Yeah, it's crap and really shouldn't continue as it stands.
There was even a bunch of countries who couldn't take part because they didn't have the money. Here in the UK, people are furious and are saying we should go in individual countries and not as a Kingdom, just to see how they'd fair against a Welsh, English, Scottish and Northern Ireland contestant.

This. Meh, haters be hatin', but Lena's song was the best in ESC this year and it won, fair and square. There's always been neighbour voting and asslicking, I don't see why it's such a big deal anymore.
