The Hotspot is all the fun you need, compactly packed in a single activity centre that also runs a pub on the side. It is also an excellent venue for sharing all your fabulous events, as well as hearing about all the events organised by The Hotspot and its contacts — while enjoying a good burger with great company!

The Hotspot's base of operations can be found in the underground pub at the Stormwind tram station.

The idea is to create a sort of hub for both events and random RP. The employees of The Hotspot are dedicated to creating a variety of events and/or running the pub whenever they are available for it. And the best part is that as an independent business, we can do all sorts of events ranging from fabulous balls to pit fighting, or even acquiring and selling some slightly less legal things under the table. There are no restrictions when it's all about money!

On Saturdays at 15:00 we will host the Announcement Afternoon, where people can come to find out about The Hotspot's upcoming events, to announce their own, to tell the employees what sort of events they might like to see in the future, and perhaps even participate in the planning. Hopefully in the (near) future we will also be able to assist people in creating their own events by hearing them out and giving feedback, advertising it, helping them find a venue, etc.

You needn't even worry if you are always hung over or busy having a life on Saturday afternoons — you can always pop by at the pub some other day and ask about the upcoming events there!

Additionally I would love if representatives of the guilds or other event makers could keep us informed about any open events that they might have, so that we can advertise them as well. I'll try to remember to poke people in-game regarding that!

I also intend to create an invite list, on which you can get your name by showing up at The Hotspot and having your character subscribe to our newsletter (i.e. the calendar invites).

Thanks! I did notice the talk about fencing things there yesterday just as I was refining the text, and you are, of course, most welcome there! It rather fits the 'no questions asked' atmosphere I'm going for.

Perhaps curtains will be installed to the booths there so people can have some 'privacy'. Wink

Hallow's End was great as always! Screenshots and stuff can now be found on The Scarlet site. I figured it would eventually get too painful if I had 5920 spoilers in the main post(s) here.
