[Troll-RP]: Painted Skulls (Inactive)

Painted Skulls is a Troll only roleplaying guild on Defias Brotherhood et al.

After tyranny of Garrosh and siege of Orgrimmar, a tribe like group of Trolls was formed to uphold and advocate Troll traditions and culture, to represent Trolls as a worthy and powerful race of the Horde. After the revolution Trolls cannot be oppressed again, to ensure this the Painted Skulls are loyal to the Horde and will aid it in many campaigns. While not military, many Trolls will be expected to fight when the time comes, however witchdoctors and other non-warrior like Trolls can take up a more diplomatic or just tribal position among the Painted Skulls.

In the recent events of the world, the Painted Skulls have joined the Horde forces on new world of Draenor. All trolls are needed, it is time to join the crushing of Iron Horde. We will be piercing their black hearts!

Roleplay:
We try to keep our roleplay varied, with a strong tribal and pagan vibe. Common activities include things like relaxed evenings around a campfire, various more or less dark tribal rituals, and of course hunting. You should not be surprised of these activities contains blood, and feasting on raw or prepared flesh. Many of us aren't very picky on how many legs the thing we eat originally had..

We are loyal to the Horde, and will mostly not be aggressive to those within it. Though we are a small guild, we try to keep an active and clear presence to show other horde guilds who the master-race is! So we'll gladly involve anyone interested in our RP, be it as company at the campfire or as a secret ingredien in a cooking pot.

PvP/PvE:
Even tho we are no focused for either, choosing DB et al. brings just the right amount of pvp in the experience. And as many of our members enjoy PvP or PvE activities you won't hopefully need to farm your points alone. Transmogged PvP gear is highly recommended as we will be roleplaying in the contested areas!

Ranks:
Atal'jin - "Devoted Leader" of the Painted Skulls. Also just "Jin" for short.
Vizier - Advisor of the Atal'jin.
Atal'ai - "Devoted One" of the Painted Skulls. These have proven to be dependable beyond what is expected of a regular member. Not to be confused with the Atal'ai tribe.
Painted - A full member of the Painted Skulls.
Unpainted - A member who have not yet proven them worthy to be painted.
Whelp - Those who have fallen out of grace, and need to prove that they are worthy again.
Runt - Purely OOC rank. Usually those who have not yet met us IC

After the chaos of battle in Dark Portal, survived trolls have moved to Gorgrond. In plans to regroup, find other survived trolls and scout the landscape. In other words: hide and survive till strength is regained and go kick Iron Horde in the nuts!

Many friendly faces has not been seen after the portal. Including Tzucoatl, Jin of Painted Skulls is missing! Oh noes!

The troll have endured the blistering cold of the Frostfire Mountains, making the crossing over to Frostfire ridge. After settling in, it was time to paint some skulls!

Classy or not, after several clashes our fierce asses of Painted Skulls and Blood Wolfs were finally handed over to us. So we needed to retreat back to hills of Nagrand to lick our wounds.

Thanks a bunch to BotB for the RP-PvP evening!

There we were, just sitting and eating sausages when all of a sudden…

Trolls with delightfully painted skulls, and a bunch of savage orcs arrive from the sea in their tribal canoes and set up a tent! A tent that rivals our own lovely purple Alliance tent! It might have been slightly cooler. Madness! A grave insult. Scared for our lives, and the safety of our freshly bought sausages and booze- we fought as best we could. It went back and forth a few times. But separating a Brave from their sausages is something that simply does not happen!

… Well, not while they’re sober anyway. Regardless, after some savage fighting that left everyone limping and possibly missing an ear or nose, the Band hastily made a bid for peace. Kastarn attempted to sell some of the Band's companions in a panic. Or in a complete disregard for his allies. But even so- the short, hot battle left both parties unable to share a peace. The trolls and orcs retreated out into the wilds to plan their next move, while the Band returned to their camp- often looking over their shoulder. Their minds unfortunately set on the new enemies that they now knew also lurked on dangerous Draenor.

Another fight is sure to come soon, no doubt…

Painted Skulls succesfully travelled to sunny and dangerous Nagrand! But every troll knows that even in dangerous places you got to find time for relaxing. (Also, yes, that is Mudija!)

After some time in Nagrand Painted Skulls travelled back to Frostfire to participate in the horde gathering and tournament. In tournament two skulls managed to fight all the way up to top finalists. Winning the title of Champion of Frost & Fire among the tribe!

Back at Nagrand, Painted Skulls teamed up with the Blood Wolf Clan once again and ventured into a mysterious isle near the borders of Nagrand and Talador!

The isle itself had lot of bad mojo in it. But that didn't stop these trolls for doing some crazy rituals.

Meanwhile in Talador, Painted Skulls and company heard a rumor of big clash happening between Horde and Alliance nearby. Here you can see the elite team that kicked some alli butt in WPvP!

At this point we're back at Nagrand. But stay tuned for more Painted stories!

I even got them to 94 in a short space of time. But I can never be bothered to play her XD

Instead of going bonkers about the awesome RP-PvP week we had with Band of the Brave (thanks duuudes you're awsum), i'm going to make a nostalgia screenshot bump!

There was a time when bunch of trolls from different guilds came up together to have some funny troll RPs. If i recall right, the picture is from the times of Kosh'harg (or some other big event in Nagrand). Instead of running straight to Garad, group of trolls decided to visited Zabra'jin first to have their own party!

At this point there was already active little horde loyal troll community, but no guild. Untill the events of pre-wod where guild founder Tzu'coatl met our jolly bunch and the idea of The Painted Skulls was born!

The tribe like guild was formed and trolls of the realm were united. With high darkspear pride we marched through the Dark Portal to crush Iron Horde who mock everything we believe in! For da Horde!

Then we made a quick visit to Frostfire as Blood Wolfs hosted Horde gathering. But even boring politics couldn't keep us away from wicked rituals! Here we Painted two of our new members, Juumoke and Joozula.

In the Gathering we teamed up with Huojin of Falling Leaf and elfs of Ashal Anore and headed back to Talador. To help with local wildlife we ventured to solve the mystery of fel spiders! Solve was naturally cutting their numbers till there's no more fel. Duh.

From what I've seen in game, this seem to be an RP guild above the ordinary. Gives me cravings to roll a non-elf. (Hue, what am I saying, how could I NOT be an elf...) Anyway, amazing work with this one.
