Waypoints and addons

Embarassing confession: I don't know how to use waypoints. So whether is random rare mobs, treasures, netherwing eggs(it's not, thankfully) etc, I usually end up finding them manually. Which is fine, but can be a bit demanding for prolonged grinds.

The form of them I usually encounter looks something like this:

/way xx.yy, yy.xx

And often come in large piles in wowhead comments etc.

How do I use them? Do I need to on an addon-download spree, and if so, which ones will I need?

Halp this newb out.

Get the Tomtom addon, then just copy and paste the /way line and it'll put a dot on your map and minimap for you

Btw, copy-pasting into/out of the game window: What addon does it best with the least clutter/bugs?

I use Elephant and Prat. Mix and match, you know?

Fair enough. Gives me something to work with.

I use Elephant when i need to copy something from chat. That addons records chat logs, and allow copy-pasting from it own window.

I use Unlimitedchatmessage when i need to drop massive walls into chat. It sometimes messes up the order though, but i've not found a better alternative to drop massive walls beyond the 255 letter limit per message.
