“So. You want to know my story, huh? It’s not an easy one. Nothing ever is, in this city. It all began with –that- case.

It was a typical night in Stormwind. Lightning flashing overhead, torrential rain pouring down against the window. Heck, if I was a poetic man, I might even call the rain a blessing. Obscuring the scum and crime outside. And that’s when the Dame knocked on the door.

She walked in like she owned the place, jet black hair and legs for hours. Her perfume was classy, something only a rich gal like her could afford.

The dame had a case for me.  Of course she did – why else would a girl like her ever talk to a guy like me? Still. The case was baffling. A case of cloak and dagger antics, in the highest forms of state. The kind of case you crack, or die trying. But then, you don't hire a private eye for the easy ones. And I was the poor idiot who accepted…”
