Wolfenstein 3d, the game before Doom, featured B. J. Blazkowicz as it's protogonist; 15 years later, ID releases a moblie game called Wolfenstein RPG where in the end you kill healthy and angry Cyberdemon, with all of his arms & legs still intact. As he dies, he promises he's going to go after Blazkowicz' children and, would you know it, the Doom Guy is actually called Sgt. Blazkowicz and, needless to say, he owns the "fixed" cyberdemon with one mechanical leg and a rocket launcher which replaced one of his arms.

So now we know his full name. Sergeant Keen Blazkowicz. xD Talk about "20 years later"?

The truth is even scarier.

Commander Keen, Billy Blaze by his real name (full name William Joseph Blazkowicz II), is an eight-year old kid genius with an IQ of 314 (a reference to Pi) and one point less than his nemesis Mortimer McMire. With his extreme intelligence Keen has been able to make several inventions that he uses to aid himself in his adventures. His inventions are also an important part in each episode's story. Keen is also studying a fast-track college degree.

In the Official Hint Manual for Wolfenstein 3D, more information is given about Keen's parents: his father is Arthur Kenneth Blazkowicz, a television talk show personality in Milwaukee, who changed his last name to Blaze show biz purposes. Keen's mother is Susan Elizabeth McMichaels. Keen's grandfather on his father side is William Joseph "BJ" Blazkowicz, a top spy for the Allied Forces in World War II. Keen's grandmother on his father side is Julia Marie Peterson.
