Remove half of the things.

I had thought about that, but as nobody gave me any responses, I went ahead and started removing dead sections. Most of the information/posts are retrievable however.

I still remain unsure regarding Horde: The Gathering, Stormwind Community and Magic. Since while they haven't been posted in recently, they could still be used in the future at great length.

Don't outright delete stuff. a read only archive is the best solution if you ask me. just dump stuff there.

Perhaps, then, rather than creating graveyards and dotting them around, create that read only archive, section areas off and shove it all in there?

As I said, very little was actually deleted. Simply moved to the smaller graveyard in the mod section.

Feel free to remove the Ministry of Defense subforum from the Council area, Ledgic. It never got the intended use I had hoped for (that being a central database/coordination forum for Stormwind guard/military/SI:7 groups), and I can't see that changing.

Just a read-only archive should do it, I think; I don't believe there's a specific need to delete the sub-groups/fora that will be dumped in the archive for historical clarity.

But if you think its prettier to just dump everything in the new archive without subforums I don't blame that.

As far as Magic goes, that got a flurry of activity in the first few days after it started and then basically died out and was never reused. I can't see much reason to keep it with that in mind.

Cheers for the responses, guys. I've been working on things for a couple of hours now, stopping for breakfast then I'll keep muddling through.

Currently toying with the graveyard. Do we need sectioned off moved posts, such as creating separate categories for each section (registry, general chat etc)?

I'm also essentially going to leave two pages per section, everything beyond that is going to move. Does that sound reasonable?

Edit: Also, Drustai, I moved one of your magic guides into the guide section and released it's still marked as a WIP. Would you like me to remove it and let you re-post it once it's done, or?

Is "Stormwind Community" group forum in active use? I hardly see any recent posts or general use, so it could go to the graveyard?

Hence why I asked about it, yeah. I didn't just want to shove it in the graveyard if anyone planned on making use of it again

Most Stormwind people seem to be posting their things on the IC/Events/LFRP section, so by that i'd guess that no, nobody is to use "Stormwind Community" section.

Fair enough then, I'll take care of it. Any Horde care to way in regarding Horde: The Gathering?

Otherwise I may as well remove that as well.
