Pre-Cataclysm storyline

I am looking for someone to develop a storyline with me. It involves my Gnome, Niffles Sparkpistol and hopefully other people as well.

The basic story:

My Gnome is a library fanatic, which means he does a lot of research and reads a lot. Since the whole Deathwing/Cataclysm thing is coming quite close I would like to set up an (Angels & Demons alike) mystery using buildings and objects in the game as clues. The whole thing works around a ruined journal which is made in GHI. The journal is found by an adventurer (whereabouts still unknown) and bought by the curious Gnome. After a while of researching this curious looking book the Gnome starts to believe it has something to do with the current location of Neltharion the Earthwarder/Deathwing. The book will play an important role in all of this.

Looking for:
- At least one motivated and "elite" roleplayer who wishes to work with me on this storyline.
- A possible disturbance in the story. The 'bad-guy'.
- Another detective/researcher type of character.

Not looking for:
- People who are going to whine about metagaming. (He's not claiming that he knows Deathwing is on the rise. He might not even find the location.)
- Immature roleplayers who never even heard of the word storyline.
- People who can't get their punctuation/capitalization together.

Again, this isn't metagaming. It's just a fun way to start the Cataclysm RP season!

I personally do not think i'd fit in. But I wish you all the luck in the world. Oh and before you say you can't predict Deathwing happening your wrong. In fact the gnomes already have, you've confirmed there is a 12.7% chance of it happening soon!

I could play your assistant on my gnome mage (who is a dalaran librarian) or I could play the evil guy who wants the book (my criminal human or my orc if you want cross faction roleplay)

Awesome, though I'd appreciate it if robberies and assaults on the characters are discussed OOC'ly first. I'm not a big fan of the: "HERE I COME PREPARE TO ROLL" culture. Just wanted to make that clear.

All right! Important question here:

Is there anyone out there willing to aid me in constructing a storyline in all of this? I've gathered my sources and my main idea. Voice chat is preferred!

Well Cartel could try to take the book to sell it with overly high price to the federation.

Good to hear that all of you are interested. Make sure to check the Events section for the prelude storyline and please PM me any information you think is usefull. This is going to be tons of fun! We might even make a WoWmodelviewer comic! It's so much fun to get new RP ideas going. : )
