This sounds a lot better - the more generalised your concept is, the more you can achieve. I would suggest that you go forth with the idea of black markets, And if im correct im sure there are black market events in the harbour every other week, Something you may wish to look into.

Wondering what kind of motive would people have for murder and things. Please though not let it be evil for the sake of evil. I prefer to see some actual motivation and the result is something the guards or people might see as unlawful/bad/dastardly.

Well I've been busy with other stuff and people been curious so heres the background on the matron an my reconsidered plans.

Guild name is UNDEATH which stands for United Engineering and Trading Hub.

She's a con artist made a fortune in in property scams and has bought up some buildings in dwarven and is now looking to expand her influence.

She will be branching out into biological, chemical and mechanical espionage as she has no affiliation with the alliance or horde and will use her resources for the highest bidder (resourses as in gold and future recruits), also a rune and drugs trade both addictive in different ways the runes will have the chars using them lusting for power and ultimately losing control. Those are the biggest of my ideas there will be contract killers, thugs, robberies all the standard stuff to. Ill allow cult related stuff but not big fan of cult stuff.

I will have a civilian front with people being hired as engineers ad tradesmen and they will not have anything to do with the criminal activities.

Anyway will be now an then conferring with other guilds to try and make the plague idea a massive event much like the riot.

Waiting till I'm lvl 90 to go all out and begin recruiting which is 3/4 a bar off.

I still don't support the plague idea, I think it's just too boring to be done again. Do we want plague running over our city? But otherwise it's pretty cool, so I wish you good luck on what you do and I hope to encounter you in the amazing world of roleplay!

I wouldn't say that Slave Trade is unacceptable. There are multiple examples of Slavery in Warcraft universe, both magical and mundane. Gladiator Slaves also happen. Thrall was a Slave. Varian Wrynn was a Gladiator Slave to, along with Broll Bearmantle and Valeera Sanguinar. Trolls and Goblins both keep slaves. Admitted, among most races, Slavery and Gladiator Battles would be kept underground, away from the eyes of the authorities. Read about Crimson Ring

Slavery may be illegal in Stormwind, (actually, it isn't. I checked from City Laws, Alliance, and only Magical means of mind-control or dominance are illegal. Slavery is not mentioned in the current edition of the laws), but it is not everywhere. Stormwind is not the entirety of the world. Slave Trade could very well take place in Blackrock Mountain, being Neutral ground unaffiliated with the Alliance or the Horde.

The trick with Slave Trade is to find the people that would be willing to surrender their characters to be kidnapped and sold into Slavery. I for sure would be open for such, should there be any buyers around, and i am sure there would, if there would be Slaves available.

Guards exist because there are criminals, and criminals because there are guards around. They contribute to eachother, such as a Slave and Slave Buyers/Trader would contribute to eachother.
