For the Horde..?
So I have decided to check out Horde, (Again) but don't know what class and race is best to do.
What I'm looking for on classes is:
- Something easy to level.
- Something fun to level.
- Something easy to Roleplay.
- Something fun to Roleplay!
What I'm looking for in race is:
- A race fun to level up.
- A race that I can enjoy.
- A race has plenty of roleplay open for it.
- A race that can really fit me!
All these things is difficult to find because:
1, I don't really know myself!
2, I have never actually played longer but to level 45 on Horde. (Troll named Zerpa)
3, I haven't actually ever been interested in Horde before today.
So that's why I'm looking for the Horde community for some real informative intelligence on this matter!

Re: For the Horde..?
Troll monk. Trolls are always good fun to role-play, they're crazy. The animations of a monk fit the troll model ridiculously well, and a monk is both incredibly fast, and a ton of fun to level.

Tauren druid. For... Reasons.
Really though, druid gameplay is magnificent (but stay clear of Balance) with tons of things to do, and instant-cast flight form makes you a flying god. War Stomp, self heals, roots, cyclones... The druid playstyle is simple: ADAPT. You have all the tools, you just need to use them. No other class has 2 different dps-specs, a tanking spec and a healing one.
Tauren also feel very right to RP as Restoration druids IC, given their lifestyle. Lion Cat form feels better for male characters than the nelf-cats. Thunder Bluff is an epic capitol.
And well, it is fun to let the hippie minotaur get truly angry.

Re: For the Horde..?
Obviously, I am going to say Rogue and not just because of Vile Thorn but because I love the class and the whole being a rogue thing - fun to level, but not easy as generally you are talking single-target pulls. Roleplay-wise you have a spectrum to choose from - assassin, thug, thief, spy, vigilante, lone-wolf, pack-hunter - rogues fit well into both rp/pvp and pure rp.
Monks are insanely easy to level and loads of fun, but possibly more difficult to roleplay as you have to think more (imho) because of the spiritual side of things. But if you are good on the whole Pandaria lore thing, it won't be an issue (I am assuming, maybe wrongly but here isn't the place to discuss, that monk training only became available to the general populace post the discovery of Pandaria). I can't say much on the rp side as not roleplayed mine much as a monk, just was a blast to level.
Hunters are also fun to level, I've a 90 I play just to chill and relax on as it makes Timeless Isle a doddle. Good races for this are roleplay-wise are Blood Elf (although sadly we have no active Farstrider guilds) and Trolls. Any roleplay around scouting solo or in small packs fits well.
I would say whatever race you play depends on the rp style you are going for as each race has it's own base characteristics. Blood Elves, Forsaken and Goblins are easy to roleplay, personally, as I find their characters easy to slip into. I like a race that's quick-witted with an undertone of sarcasm and sprinking of elitism so they fit that well. Never got the hang of Trolls or Orcs though, not saying they are tough, I just find it harder to 'get into their heads'.
Best of luck and if you get stuck and need help Horde side just give me a /w

Re: For the Horde..?
I'm pretty sure that every class is easy to level these days, it's more about which is the fastest one or so. Even that becomes relatively meaningless, if you've got access to heirlooms and decide to join some random lvl 25 guild with XP perks for while you're levelling up. If I were to suggest something, perhaps the multitasking druid mentioned in one of the above posts and troll as a race, like erwtenpeller said (even if there can never be enough old and wise tauren druids about...not sure if there are any trolls ones, though). I last levelled a feral druid to 90 myself and it was a real breeze, almost too much of a breeze. That amount of damage and self-heals...

@Arli: Monks were around before Pandaria was discovered. The Scarlet Crusade employed them for a long time. I believe the story is that there were the odd pandaren who traveled Azeroth and taught their arts, but that Monk training only became widely spread out when they formally joined the Alliance and Horde.

Re: For the Horde..?
I'd go with either a Troll or a Tauren; as for the classes, probably monk/druid/shaman.
Needless to say, read quests and explore as much as you can, hopefully you'll find the Horde is where you belong.

Re: For the Horde..?
Pfleh, bugger every one of those Warchiefs. Yes, even Doomhammer, even though I normally wouldn't say so, because he won't be one in the expac anyway (in fact, the whole premise of that abomination rustles my jimmies to begin with).
OT: You have an opinion of your own don't you? Just roll with whichever race/class combination you feel seems most interesting for you by the time you do make the jump. There's a guild for nearly every race out there, though some to a little more extend than others (tauren guilds have sadly always been a tad underrepresented, par exemple). Obviously, orc seems to be becoming the most hipster way to roll, but don't let the bandwagon force your hand.
