Quick notice!

Evening folks.

Just wanted to drop a notice here about a change we've made regarding registering to the forum. In Saihna's absence I decided a change was needed regarding account activation (and it's been brought up by several of the members, thank you for that) and after a quick conversation with the rest of the mod team, we've removed the requirement for accounts to be activated by an admin (totally isn't because I was the only one doing it).

Account activation is handled by the person making the account now, so it's a simple "click the link in the email" type deal. I had thought about passing all the way to immediate activation upon creation of the account but I want to assess the number of spam accounts we get before I switch to that. If we get low amounts/none, I'll change it to immediate activation soon enough.

The vouch system is going to stay in place for the time being, since at the moment I'm not sure what to replace it with/if it needs replacing at all/if it needs to exist at all (given that most of the forum is open to guests now anyway). Any and all ideas regarding that section of forum access gaining can be posted here and I'll see what you lot think!

Keep the vouch system, don't know why but I think it would be an good idea to just keep that.
