Rock and sea- a poem
Rock and sea
The sea is warm, its pull is strong
My back is broken from the fight
But here I lay, sprawled, on my rock
Keep me from drowning in the tide
At times I hate its grip on me
I want it to let go
Just dissapear into the sea
My rock, it loves me so
And when I drown, my body floats
On top of cruel waves
Would it smash down on loving rock
Or wash ashore, be safe
For all the love, the luring sea
With multiplying arms
Will pull and pull until I give
The cruel sea, it warms
The sea is warm, its pull is strong
My back is broken from the fight
But here I lay, sprawled, on my rock
Keep me from drowning in the tide
At times I hate its grip on me
I want it to let go
Just dissapear into the sea
My rock, it loves me so
And when I drown, my body floats
On top of cruel waves
Would it smash down on loving rock
Or wash ashore, be safe
For all the love, the luring sea
With multiplying arms
Will pull and pull until I give
The cruel sea, it warms

Very beautiful. I like the simplicity and the many meanings.
