It might be that reading between the lines isn't my strongest point, but I can't see Blizzard calling the realmforums dead tbh. They are basically saying: "We don't want to stickyspam" rather than: "You don't create noteworthy topics".

They prefeered a sticky of "Topics to read" with links on the old forum as well.

Yes they said that. If I intended to deny that I wouldn't have included the full email.

It doesn't change the fact that they said the forum is dead because nobody uses it as opposed to having few stickies.

No, you've taken it out of context. They used the word dead because you used it. In context to both emails, he's merely trying to tell you to make more threads instead of stickies because otherwise you'll be clogging up the forum with them. He isn't taking a personal opinion and nor does he speak for Blizzard's opinion.

Blizzard's opinion: Please stop messaging us about stickies, we'd prefer if you just make threads.
