Interguild PvP (Rated Battlegrounds)

Zhaun's RBG groups seemed to be quite successful, so I've decided to try starting up weekly RBGs for RPers if there's still interest. Mostly for the cap but if we're good we can try to get some rating.

So just post here if you'd be interested and let me know your class and spec. You can also add my Battletag (Raenmar#2715) if you don't play Alliance much so it'll be easier to find you in game.

Note: You'll need at least full Malevolent (honor gear), preferably gemmed.

Raenmar - Balance Druid
Ixirar/Kavalis - Rogue
Cynowenn - BM hunter
Bismack - Arms warr
Mazzel - Frost DK

Havelok - prot warrior. (flag carrying)

Adding that not only should your gear be gemmed, but it should also be enchanted. Personally, I think this should be a requirement to be a viable candidate for RBGs.

I'll consider joining if you add proper knowledge of how to play your class in RBGs along with requiring that not only is your gear gemmed/enchanted, you also didn't gem like a retard.

That should be obvious knowledge, but good to point it out i guess.

Which is the problem, many won't expose themselves if they're not good, blaming their failures as a PVP'er on everyone but themselves and it is quite common on Defias.

It's a lot about teamwork and other factors as well anyway. Plus if you're willing to learn about your class and so on it's easy in good time.

It's hardly just about your own class, though. In order to be a good PvPer, you need to know every other class and spec by heart as well, to be able to predict your opponent and take measures to counter that.

Right, decided to wipe my keybinds, redo them all and start learning to PvP (yeah I never learned) so right now I've got 4 spells on my bars. I'll need to put this off for a while. I intend to learn quite quickly so it shouldn't take too long, and I'll get RBGs started when I'm done.

Or if anyone else would like to try leading them instead, go ahead.

There shouldn't be a too big issue issue if there are two of the same class. Just depends when someone can show up. Zhaun put his on Mondays/Tuesdays, not sure if that would work for everyone here.

Class stacking is not a huge issue. Stacking rogues is.
