Hello!

I have a forum request to make and to gain general feedback from the people on DefiasRP. Non-registered members cannot see links/pictures, but what's the point? I'd like to be able to link things specifically such as recruitment threads to non-registered users and have them see it.

General Chat is blocked out anyway from non-registered users so there is no worry of it being stalked on or whatever, anyway, anybody agree, disagree or some shit?

I believe it's a limitation of the non-registered view/access within the actual forum programme/system, rather than something we've specifically chosen to limit.

But maybe an Admin can confirm...

dunno, ive worked with phpbb in the past and guests could view pictures and links
might be a bandwidth related choice tho

Seems to be more of a standard setting that we've not changed, yeah.

First time in my whole time here i've ever heard about these odd "restrictions" but they'll be looked into if it is indeed some standard setting.

Great, it's just that when a person who is not registered looks at DefiasRP they see and for recruitment threads or the in-character section it would help if folk who are not registered could see.

This was just mentioned to me by a guildie from Forsaken who's not yet registered and was checking out the recr. thread.

I have had a look around and can not figure out what would be the issue. Will keep having a look though
