I like that there are 2 pages of people ignoring Faylum and ABoC already.

Raen is right btw, ABoC stopped all RP out of blueshield zones, people actively fled them and the SW community put there fingers in their ears and covered their eyes. Also there were meetings and endless debates on these boards about how to deal with it.

I just have to say that it dosent matter who or what is annoying aslong as it is stopping! So this is just 20% cooler!

The amount of butthurt and denial as soon as somebody suggests that there is or was some form of problem is incredibly stupid.

I don't think it is so much denial in the general sense, it is that people have forgotten about Aboc. Several months ago, when they caused us to move into blue shielded zone it was an issue. Faylum leaving then would have been great news, but (you would understand this if you wasn't over on AD ) for the last few months, everyone has been branching out and RPing in non-blueshielded zones untouched. The Omen set up an event in the south of the Dark Portal zone, in that little town. Aboc showed up after about 2 hours of us already RPing this event and everyone just flew into the air, summoned to Elwynn (which had a similar town setup) and continued the RP there as if nothing happened. It took a total of about 10 minutes to move everyone and it didn't stop the flow of RP.

So to summarise: Aboc was at first a hornet sting, then it became a flea bite and now bug spray has been used. There isn't a need to celebrate because they were barely a problem for the last few months.

For once in my life I kind of agree with what Vaell is saying. Don't think there was any denial (If there was, then I somehow overlooked it. I mean heck I havn't played WoW since quitting back in Febuary). It's just that people (should) have stopped caring at this point about ABOC and Faylum.

Lingering on was just pointless.

It took all of that time to plan an event outside of safezones, and the first sign of disruption, people just went back to safezones.

Aboc have always been a major problem, and they've never been dealt with as good as they could have been. The only reason the ganking decreased was because there was nobody left to gank.
