Faylum is gone
Soyeah. Heard it today from someone, and if you look at Aboc in the armory, Faylum is bottom rank while Larloch is GM. Apparently, Faylum was getting ganked and he got mad, so his guild for some reason petitioned a GM for him to be removed from guild leader, and it happened.
Just thought everyone would like to know it's safe to come out of hiding. Gratz whoever drove him to quitting.

Re: Faylum is gone
"Safe to come out of hiding"? From what, from whom?
ABoC isn't one person, and nobody was ever 'hiding' from anyone.
It's rather immoral to congratulate someone for driving someone off the game, no matter how tasteless they may be.

Like most doochebag guilds, I just see the tag and consider it a " double points if you can gank me!1! "...

As if anything would stop because he was supposedly demoted.
I doubt the members felt forced to do what he says, I'm fairly sure they all like doing what they do.
Not that people hide from that, I don't see how this means one could come out of hiding.
To quote Akama, it only traded one dark lord for another.

Thanks for confirming something i heard on rumors. However, let him be forgotten, not his missing celebrated. There will now, and always, be gankers of many kind out there. We may yet see darkest days ahead. Until that, i'll do what i am able to.

After an initiative to bring every RP guild to blueshield zones 'until Aboc goes away', yes, people were hiding from them.
Of course Aboc won't just fall apart now, but without its leader it'll have some problems at least.

I don't see how this is news worthy to begin with, but ok.

It is quite good news!
Sometimes guilds totally fall apart once their 'guiding light' departs. Hopefully we'll see them start winding down their griefing activities until they just stop entirely.

Well, the other times they've tried something like this (Read: Shadow of Nine for example), they disbanded and crawled back to Outland once Faylum went emo on them.
Worth hoping, atleast.

Re: Faylum is gone
We were (and still are) RP'ing in contested zones during the entire time. Not to mention our little trips were we chase them away from levelling zones from time to time. 4-5 Dwarves vs 7-8 ABoC and still driving them off, Failum fleeing like the devil was after him... when it was just little me.
Good times. Just shows that gankers have no business here. /sagenod

The few times they've interrupted Horde duelling PVP events in places like the Nagrand area they've been sent packing in short order.
They're not very good at PVP!

Why is this being given any attention whatsoever?
Why is Faylum being moulded into a local celebrity?
Why are we even bothering with such news?
We all know they'll vanish over time, we all get on with our RP. Learn to stop giving attentionseekers attention plx.

They are already fragmenting. There's a guild with a few ex-ABoC's called Prima Terra.
At least their guild name is more tasteful.

He must of had major shit fit to (if true) to make his guild mates contact a gm about taking over.

OMG OMG THEY JUST WANT ATTENTION STOP FEEDING THEM OMG
I'd say the "they're a troll stop feeding them" thing died after the majority of guilds stopped RPing outside of blueshield zones and Aboc flourished.
we all get on with our RP
Really?
Faylum is gone and now everyone is pretending he never had any effect on RP?
Really?

They seem like the type of people to do it simply because it'd be hilarious. He has/had some loyal members, but from what I've heard, only 80% of the guild need to want a new leader for it to happen.
Re: Faylum is gone
Ouch :S can't make a gent feel to good to have 80% wanting to give him the boat. Ah well XD

I just think people are tired of discussing this particular subject, Raenmar, and would prefer talking about something else.

Re: Faylum is gone
To be fair, Aboc were a real issue a few months back but we adapted. They became old news quite quickly and when people got ganked, we just moved to a safer location and continued our RP.
This news is the cherry on top, so I'm glad he is gone. He was a bellend anyway!

My day was fantastic. I spent the morning drawing and then later studied Norwegian. Then I went to the gym and now I am just back. How was your day?
