Ready to wipe yet another shit attempt at ganking last night and suddenly my throat started to feel like I was eating cacti so I logged. Went to bed early and started shivering and aching and my head felt like it was going to implode into a singularity. I got like 2 hours of sleep and stayed off school, lay in bed the whole day shivering. Luckily it was a short day and most lessons were shit anyway, but I've missed the start of poetry for the English lit exam. And I have a science practical exam tomorrow which I need to research for and I really can't miss it so fuck.

Then my grandma dragged me to her house. She'd made pie and pancakes but I had absolutely no appetite so I hardly ate anything. Missed a guild event but it was okay because only an officer and a new member turned up so it was cancelled.

Three days til the school holidays, and if I hadn't stayed off today this would be like the first half-term in a while that I had no time off.

What a shit day.

It was clearly a curse given to you from the dying gankers lips. Damn gankers have now upped their game and have supernatural attacks : /

Get better soon.

So. The day after the eviction notice was given, I get called downstairs to speak with my landlady.

Stupid bitch roomie is getting one more "last chance."

I was honest and told her I don't have the same patience as them and that I'm done with her.

Later, I found out that I'd fucked something up pretty bad, class-related. I sent something to the wrong e-mail address and hooo boy, it got all sorts of messed up.

I have pneumonia, I'm furious over the roomie situation, I'm stressed over school...and I have anxiety issues. It all overwhelmed me and I ran to the bathroom, feeling like I was going to be sick and then started having an anxiety attack.

My landlady ran upstairs when she heard the noises I was making, barged into the bathroom to find me kneeling in front of the toilet, shirtless (the feeling of constriction makes it worst), and struggling to breathe. At one point, I managed to tell her I couldn't breathe and she started going for her phone. This made me panic, because I can't afford to pay for an ambulance so I managed to beg her not to.

I was shaking horribly by the time I managed to start breathing again. Pneumonia + anxiety attack, just a horrible combination. She led me to my room, made sure I got in bed, and the headache I got from the muscle tension in my neck was horrible (normal anxiety attack thing for me).

So today, I went to see a doctor again and got myself checked again and got prescribed a puffer. Hopefully that will help.

I find the worst part, not the pneumonia, not the mentally challenged room mate you have, but the fact that you can't call an ambulance because they will charge you. I find it, ridiculous actually, that supposedly in this golden era of democracy and great freedom, a suffering person can't call an ambulance in the 'first world'.

Fuck the 'first world' - Capitalism driven slave market.

I hope you get better soon!

"Free" comes with a dick in your ass.

Best saying, and most truest saying.

Nothing is free.

Healthcare is free. I can go see a doctor and not have to pay for it.

However, dental care, vision care, prescriptions and ambulance stuff are among the things that are covered by insurance. Still, having lived ten years in the States, I still greatly appreciate free healthcare.

Thanks for the supportive words, too!

Gnnngh.

I work in design: web design as well as graphics. Just finished off a 20/30+ page site, one of the sales girls downstairs asks to look at it. I send a zip file with clear non-techy-speak instructions.

Can you print this out as i cant open it?

NO, NO I CANNOT, WEB IS NOT A PRINT MEDIA. HOW DO YOU INTEND TO CHECK FUNCTIONALITY ON A4 PAPER? UNLESS IT'S MAGIC PAPER HUH. HUH?!

(I uploaded it to a temporary server for her to view online in the end, easier than trying to explain winzip)

This is the same girl who called me because she was downloading a .pdf downstairs but it was taking a while; her idea was "Can you download it upstairs and then email it to me? You're better at this internet stuff so you should be able to get bettwer download speeds!"

Also one print project, I asked her to get the exact size of the card we were printing on; rather than checking with the supplier or client, she came up to my office, grabbed a sheet of A4 and drew a vague, wobbly rectangle on it, stared at it very seriously, and nodded. "Yeah, do it about that size. You can keep that for reference."

It'll be even more romantic if you ask said person out on an ordinary day, though, not just on the day every anxious single person needs a date to uphold their self-respect... I don't know, it just seems like it's more real that way. Won't resort to saying there's plenty of fish in the sea, cause that varies, but there's plenty of chances to go fishing, and the one that got away yesterday might be the one you catch in a week.

Shit, I used a fishing metaphor... That's awkard (Go watch cloudy with a chance of meatballs to see why. Or just go watch it to get in a better mood, either works, it's a masterpiece).
