By front to you mean "one hundred miles off the coast". I dont think any of us could concider ourselves on the front line kicking anything, as no western boot touched anything Libya.

As on the front as a carrier is supposed to be in modern warfare :p

Well, I would say that the Western pilots flying over Libya were on the front. As were the MEDIVAC/regular evacuation forces to get out crashed pilots (which did happen).
