Ofc, I'm pro at fail, managed to pick a stealthed spot in SW earlier and a DK landed on me...that was an exciting sprint and cliff jump. Just a matter of time, might want to start building the BBQ outside the Garrison.

And as for this thread...well....don't fall into the trap of assuming all Horde are pro-pvpers! I've the enthusiasm, the gear, but clearly not the skills.

Clearly Skill is what is most lacking these days, every simpeltion can gear up these days. Which gives you the chance.

Hrm. I still gotta see them managing that, the Horde gankers that be. Since ALL the Alliance will come there, most likely all Horde as well. But hrm, still have my doubts if ABoC and minions can keep that up. Also, if they would succeed in locking down a entire zone, I imagine that Blizzard would step in, like they did on another realm when the Alliance owned Ogrimmar.

Arli said it, but i will repeat it. Remember this: -YOU WILL NEVER SEE DOMINION WORKING WITH ABOC- Leave the aging trollers have their dying breath as Faylum finally removes the mists before his eyes and realises how pointless his efforts are.

As for the chance of locking down an entire Zone, Sure it`ll happen, for -15 Minutes- maybe. Alliance isnt -JUST- the RP community with all the good and bad players that brings. You have alot of OOCers as do we (the horde) Everyone will fight for a few minutes, one side will wipe, and everyone goes back to what they are doing = solved

But i will give you a fair warning. If you see Dominion, run. If you see Aboc, run. if you see Solace, run. Fighting back gives us the pleasure of utterly destroying you.

MoP will be a lagfest the first week, enjoy the screenshots you`ll see of any fight that happens. Enjoy hunting for those quest-mobs who never seem to spawn. Enjoy the "barens-chat" that happens in /1 due to a massive amount of players, who are bored/frustrated.

Watch your backs Alliance, you might have a goblin by the name of Kharzac aiming for your ears, head, beard to sell it on the black-market.

Sorry but i don't think you know me, if i see any of the guilds listed above, i'll try to pick one "Slow sheep" of the group, kill em and then run!

But yes, of course points like this made by many are true, thats why while you'll all be killing each other i'll just go to another place or simply stay in the shadows and stirike and run.

I'll be out there sapping the alliance to within an inch of their lives!

It will be a blast, just look at it on the positive side, putting the WAR back into Warcraft for a few days.

I somehow expect us to walk around Panda land and suddenly sap each other. I would probably burst in laughter if that happened.

Four points to add to this as I hadn't looked at it in ages;

1) They'll probably lock it down for 2 days, if they manage to. Some of their leaders have come up with the idea and everyone is excited for it pre-release but most of them will want to level. They could do "shifts" but would you sit around ganking for a few hours whilst one of your friends experiences the content? Fuck no! They will break away to level and be disjointed with the ganking after a few days.

2) No flying is ALWAYS a good thing. No flying means they'll have to run as a group which means three things; they pull mobs, they can be seen from afar and people will attack them. If they had the capability of flying, you would get what you have now when rping elsewhere. Flying till they find one or two lone levellers, fly down and gank, fly up and wait to see if friends arrive. Gank when that person respawns.

3) You can play on an RP-PvP server and not love PvP. I personally like it on occassion, I'm bored of it for the most part - as I am with PvE but at least the content gets a lot more updates than the PvP gets BGs. I'm on this particular server for the role-play. If I could have it my own way, I'd be on a PvE server till 90 and then come back.

4)PvP servers do have one advantage when an expansion hits, in terms of levelling. If you have PvP gear, which a lot of RPers do, you can finally kill that that has stolen your mob. The carnage of the PvP could clear a nice little zone for you. Where as in PvE, everyone is dashing about and tagging things first like their lives depend on it. It is painfully annoying not to be able to turn around and just kill that enemy player.


TL;DR:
1) They'll get bored
2) No Flying = good.
3) PvP can be boring.
4) PvE realms, you can't kill enemy taggers.

Likewise Just like yesterday when I came out of the MT portal to QD and there in front on me was Tanvar. I hammered the stealth key and hit sap and sprinted whilst giggling irl. Realising he was afk and Arli wasn't going to die a horrible death, I went back and did /cheer to finish off.

-No mass summoning since "Have Group, Will Travel" will be removed.

Holy F that's one huge healer list. I might just play MoP to lvl to 90 and join in all of the w-pvp =o this sounds awesome.

...I'm still gawping at how this pile of horses-poop thread is still going, you guys are unbelievably paranoid about this sort of crap.

Also, I particularly enjoyed the MoP Rogue Ganking video, he's so casually, chuffed up about being able to two-shot people without even breaking stealth (ROGUE SKILLS) and then has a huge flip when a Paladin has some burst.

Typical PvPer who needs to cling to an incredibly over-powered spec just to feel like he can do -something-.

Did you not bother reading the chatlogs, or are you just denying the situation entirely? It's already been stated multiple times in this thread that Aboc alone have done it in the past on much larger PvP servers, there's evidence of their intentions, and yet people still insist on calling bullshit because Aboc could never do such a thing. Go back a few pages and read Galen's post.

It's pathetic and it's really starting to get annoying.

What is pathetic is this small community's (for that is what we are, I'm told) inability to discuss anything really. And it's strange idea that the RP community is the sole arbiter of everything that happens on DB, and the one true power.

Because we have to insult or call names or ridicule another point of view. Whilst always maintaining a holier than thou unquestioning belief that our own limited point of view is the sole absolute truth.

You know what, there is a lot of paranoia and shite. And there's a lot of blinkered silliness. And pixel-penis stroking.

I wish it'd stop. I wish people would listen and learn.

There's more to this game than one narrow view. A narrow view is fine for your characters. But try and see the bigger picture yourselves.

Stop getting so bloody excited, anxious and angry about something that hasn't even got close to coming to pass. And quite possibly can not and will not anyway.

I considered making that a Modtoof post. But decided it's better from "me". Yet I'd stick by that with either "hat on".
