Temporary Internet.

So, I've been really messed about by Sky and now have to wait another month for someone to flick a switch and turn my net on.

Does anyone know how these dongle things work and if they would be any good? If they are mobile broadband does that mean they use mobile internet? That would be bad I have rubbish phone signal here...

Anyone know of a temporary fix before I try heroin? Thanks :-)

I've used mobile broadband (yes, uses mobile phone network) and it's been ok for general WoW stuff. Check the different operators and see if one has better coverage for your area. If you have a smartphone you may be able to turn it into a mobile hot-spot, so no dongle needed and you can see how reliable the signal is.

Another option is to find yourself a place with free wifi and sit there - make a coffee last all day

Good luck getting sorted, a month without internet would kill me.

I'd recommend the O2 dongle. I had to use it for a while at my old place and it was always very reliable.

I have a iPhone my brother mentioned something about that, arli. Sadly my new home has bad mobile signal but luckily where my computer is sitting it works great, I'll look into this!
