Exodar Gathering

Where: The Crystal Halls, Exodar.
When: Monday 28th of May, 19:00.
Who: Draenei or other Alliance characters interested in the Draenei community.



((OOC: I have returned to WoW, and I look forward to seeing how the Draenei on this server are doing. Therefore I want to host a simple community gathering in the Exodar so everybody can catch up with what everyone is doing. If it catches on, perhaps we can make it into a regular thing!))

The following pamphlet has been distrusted in large alliance settlements in Outland and Azeroth.

Beloved brethren across Azeroth;

The Exodar has been repaired. The Prophet has recently declared that, though the engines are once again humming with life, we are to stay on this world for the time being. Some of you may be doubtful of the merits of this decision, but I for one am overwhelmed with joy and am awestruck with the wisdom of the Prophet. This world has given us many miracles unseen on any other worlds we have visited on our long journey across the stars. Though our new allies may sometimes feel distant due to their differences, I have the utmost faith that as we continue to inhabit this world we shall grow closer to our friends and nestle on this rich planet as family of the natives defending its against the horrors of the Beyond side by side like brothers and sisters.

The Prophet's decree has reinvigorated our people's resolution to better serve this world. We are reaffirmed in our devotion to the helping its people and the defending of its lands. With renewed valor we devote ourselves to the Grand Alliance, shielding its friends and striking at its foes. With renewed compassion we tend its peoples, offering our time-sharpened crafts and celestial wisdom to the poor and unenlightened. We will comfort the wary, cure the ill, smite the wicked and defend the innocent. As a brilliant beacon of Light and Hope the spark of our spirit will brighten the darkest corners of this planet until there are no more foul and dark crevices for Demons to lurk in. Not in the world's planes, mountains, oceans and deserts; nor in the spirits of its species. No evil shall survive in the hearts of the sapient.

Yet we remain Draenei: Exiled from our true homeworld of Argus. We remain not of this world. We must take care not to forsake our heritage. As we intermingle with the various friendly races of this planet, nestling across the many continents and kingdoms, we must not forget our origins. The Exodar stands tall and proud now more than ever. The scars it burned in Azuremyst during planetfall have veeb mostly healed, and the rubble from the crash has all but been removed. The scared vessel of the Naaru stands proud as a token of ou timeless origin and cosmic cause; it is, much like us, one of the few things on this planet of alien origin. It focuses our eyes not only on this world, but on those from whence we came and others we are yet to visit. We have been nomads across the stars, and now we have become nomads on Azeroth. Yet in our heart of hearts we know we are alien to this world, and we know that the time shall come that we will trek across the stars once more. Be it to take the crusade of Light on the offense, blazing our way across the nether to strike at the foul bastions of Demonhood, or to return to our ancestral home of Argus after the final battle has been waged and won.

It is therefore with nothing but joy I my heart that I invite any and all Exiled Ones to gather coming Monday the 28th of May, Azerothian Calendar, to join me in a community meeting to discuss our struggles, findings and victories on the planet of Azeroth. Come share your tales, your dreams and perhaps together we can reinforce our resolve and help better coordinate and execute it together.

Of course, though I'd advice against lurking on a Horde character. You might as well roll a level 1 draenei and huff your way over to the Exodar. It's only a short walk, and that way you won't disturb the scenery, and you could always jump in at any moment should you feel the urge to.

I was thinking of rolling a lowbie. Don't want to suddenly apear as a forsaken rogue and cause uproar :S
