Little project I was doing on the side of Skarain's commission which I won't reveal until it's finished, but I like to work on multiple things at once, so my mind doesn't dry up on the one piece. I didn't stretch the paper for this one though, so it's all wrinkled. From an arty farty point of view that might be conceived as symbolic of the characters in the paintings' bumpy relationship.
Or you could just be normal and say "the paper sucks."
