Me and the missus commissioned a picture to a artist on DeviantArt who was going through a rough economical time. The picture we wanted drawn was a picture of our IC married couple, Saph "Wolfmaw" Eastwind and Cathie Kingsfall.

I love the picture. Saph has such a manly awkward smile and she managed to catch Cathie's beauty. I love it.

Urgh...haven't done anything new since april and even then I mainly just polished up some old, unfinished pictures and made a few new ones quickly. But then again, whole 2012 has been rather poor for me, what comes to artsy-things. Perhaps I should finally call it quits...even if I'm not a professional of any sort who's doing this for living. But still!

Good to see that others are still pushing forwards, though! The look-a-like voodoo lady looks dashing, I actually remember using the PoTC character as a reference in some of my own ancient works. Probably because she gave me troll witch doctor vibes or something of such.

I'm pondering whether to start a thing of Monday Night Drawings, where I try and do one good drawing each week and upload it on Monday (since I can't get the scanner on weekends). Need to get better so I have a better start on my Visual Arts part of the course.
