Pattern is correct, seeing as she was based off of Dru. Though the two branch off in very different ways. Dru is the good one, thanks to family/religion keeping her somewhat in line. <.<

And thanks! Yeah, it's one of my favorites. I've been working on improving my textures/shaders. And trying to keep Delidah's lighting tips in mind.

I love how it isn't a typical good looking Sith! Too many people did that when I played and it didn't make any sense. Very cool render!

... the char isn't a Sith. Or Force Sensitive at all, for that matter. The eyes are cybernetic, and skin is just simple old age and stress.

Indeed. The more I look at it, the more I'm impressed with some of the details on the skintone etc, which I always considered a challenge. The hand, for example, is really convincing.

To be fair, my TOR Sith did have full DS corruption, so you're right that I don't play 'good looking' Sith, either. Just my Sith char is not the one in the render. xD

hmm is it me or does the flesh between the nose and the upper lip, look kinda puffy?

I'm really digging the tank-top.

Might be because I have the nose set 'in' a bit, so it's not so much 'puffy' as it is the nose being set slightly 'into' the face causing the area below it to appear slightly raised.

Although I'm not really seeing any 'puffiness' myself.

I think it's because the upper lip is uh i dunno how to say it but uhm.. it's so turned.. inwards? That might make it look puffy.

I don't see anything wrong with the rendering, it's pretty awesome-magical-fantastical, I comment about the lip, looks intentional (and is apparently.) adding a bit of uniqueness to her face?

Maybe Puffyness is the wrong word,

I think its because of a combination of the small upper lip, the set-in nose, and that the cross-over from cheek-bone to the part between nose/mouth looks different in the dark and light sides..

to me it looks slightly wrong, more catty then, human, i think because of the differences in depth between the different parts..

Please shae...from experience you never get better if people only tell you that you're great, getting positive feedback (even when you think they're wrong) can help you improve. but maybe I prefer critical feedback over sycophants...

Because unlike traditional artwork, rendering is not the work of one individual person. It's more like photography or making a movie set... you acquire/assemble the props from elsewhere into the image and then take the shot. The models weren't made by me, the textures weren't made by me. The base character model comes from here, the textures come from here, the aging maps and morphs come from here, the environment comes from here, and so on. The only thing I do is morph the model, edit the textures and shaders to add individual quirks (scars, age lines, cybernetics, skin color, etc), put it all together set up the scene, prepare the lighting, and then take the shot.

Don't give me too much credit.

I can sort of see what you're saying, but there isn't any real difference in depth. Probably just the way the lighting is falling on it.
