Speaking bans and reports... I was being very racist to a guy on LoL who happened to be playing the only black champion. I happen to LOVE his champ, and he was playing her badly. At one point, he called me gay.

Now while he said gay once, i had thought up every combination of nigga possible and was being rude cause he was being a douche and shouting LUCKER when he died. I shouted back FUCKER at one point.

Anyway, I reported him for homophobia, I get an email saying I made the League a better place and proceeded to laugh for about ten minutes straight. Neutral

That's justice for you.

I'm gonna post the same thing I did on facebook, after one of my gay friends started saying he was going to try and not be gay and follow religion (hoping god would literally set him straight). I talked him out of it, but still...

If god-preachers on youtube even fucking THINK about trying to make one of my friends doubt themselves and blindly follow religion at expense of everything they are EVER AGAIN, I swear I'll burn down your house, starting with the part of the bible in your house that feeds your hatred of perfectly nice people.

If that guy was swayed by religious preachers he was obviously beginning to doubt his sexuality, or at least the moral implications of his sexuality. Let him walk the path he wants to walk.

The overwhelming majority of Christians do not 'hate' homosexuals anyway, but that's another topic all together.

Just like Corleth said, he seemed insecure of his sexuality. Be a friend and support him as he explores what he truly want, if he changes his mind later, so be it.

Where did I say that? There's a difference between supporting and 'talking out of'.

I'm not religious, nor straight, but I don't really like the idea of people trying to talk somebody out of trying to live according to a religion they believe in just as I don't like the idea of religious people trying to talk non-believing homosexuals out of their sexuality.

Fine, whatever. I'll let a close friend be miserable as he lives a life trying t o please a dirty by hiding something important about himself that in all honesty won't change, all because someone tried to tell him all LGBT people are under the devils spell. And it didn't take much to cheer him up, and he admitted he was being a bit silly.

At the end of the day though, it's his choice really ... and eventually, he'll probably come around to realizing that you can't pray the gay away :p. I went through a very similar phase like that myself a couple of years ago, although I was a totally pyscho self-destructive homophobic bully lol and LOOK AT ME NOW

You can still be religious though and gay at the same time, you just have to either be selective about or look at things from a different perspective.

Interesting fun fact: there are no passages in the quraan (I think) that directly address homosexuality - the one part where God punishes the people of Lot kinda implies he's doing it because they were all raping each other and not because they were bum bumping each other! :o It was Mohammed and the Sahabah who actually said that male homosexuals a) should be thrown off a tall building b) be kicked to near death then set on fire c) be flogged to death!

Being a lesbian is ok though :D

But letting someone try something does not mean you should leave them be and be miserable, could easily just go "you can try and if it aint gonna work, thats that, i'll always be here for you to chatter and support you"

...All joking aside, it really isn't nice to just throw every religion on a single pile and lit that on fire. We Dutch have a very apt saying to warn against exactly that: "Het kind met het badwater weg gooien" (Throwing away the baby with the dirty bathwater)

So rather than like, targeting something nondescript and grandiose with your hatred, hitting about a million things you cannot even see along with your actual target, please single out what you hate more clearly, if you'd please, and hate on a specific church in the future. Otherwise, you're no better than the bigoted and narrow-minded priests you condemn for condeming you.
