The Iron Man Challenge

This is one of those fun, new things on the WoW boards.
It is called the Iron Man Challenge. The mission is simple... reach lvl 85 with a character.
Now the hardest part: Reach it without dying. If you die, delete your character!
Now the rules.
This sounds like a lot of fun! Who is willing to participate?! =3
I will most likely start with a human or tauren Paladin... who is with me? I can start a guild if people want to!

Gear Rules:
1) No heirlooms.
2) No items equipped other than White or Gray items (except bags)
3) No item enhancements — enchants/spellthread/weapon chains/etc.
Consumable Rules:
4) No food buffs. Only white vendor-quality food & drink may be used.
5) No item buffs. No scrolls, elixirs, flasks, etc. (except Quest items).
6) No potions (except Quest items).
Spells & Abilities Rules:
7) You may train and use class abilities learned from trainers (including Rogue poisons).No talent points/pet talent points.
9) No specialization. No glyphs.
Gameplay Rules:
10) No guild perks. If you are guilded, it must be a level 1 guild.
11) No questing groups. All combat must be soloed — parties to trade/portal/etc. are permitted.
12) No battlegrounds/arenas.
13) No dungeons/raids that reward experience. All leveling must be done out in the world.
14) No combat-enhancing addons (QuestHelper/Auctioneer/etc. are fine, use your own judgment).
15) No professions, primary or secondary, other than First Aid.
16) No sending gold/items from other characters*.
*You must earn your own gold/items via questing, looting, or trading/AHing.

Do believe that warlock would be quite a fun challenge to test out doing this challenge :3.
I might try it myself at a later time, ive got a lot to do at the moment, but I guess it would be a fun experience

Dk for me :p Does ganking count as char death? And would you do this Red or Blue side?

Yes ganking counts as a death. Doing this on a pve server though would kinda take alot of difficulty out.

If I understand correct, ganking is death, because you can also choose to roll a char in a non PvP realm.
It is not forbidden to role a DK, but the it is far more easier to see how far you came if you start with a lvl 1 character.

Would go from 1 ofc. Huntard likely, been ages since I had one. Plus tanking pet is handy. Make it a Horde guild, every one knows only horde gank. :p

I am still debating about doing this challenge. It looks like a fresh way to enjoy the game, albeit very time consuming.

I imagine it would pit your survival instincts to the maximum. One screw up and it's game over. You would have to be extra careful, explore your surroundings and plan each attack on advance. Sounds tremendous fun.

Ohh hmmm If i had any pspair toon slots I would deffor go mage! they have invaluble escape mecanisms along with there heavy dps output even in whites grays.... think i may try that..
