Brotherhood of Shadow

(( This is a loose story outlining what we are about, we are new to the server and have re-rolled rather than transfer at the moment.))


"No-one must know who I am, there is too much at stake should our 'operation' be uncovered" The clipped voice addressed the five people in front of him "That is why I am entrusting you five to run The Brotherhood as a council,answerable only to me, you will appoint and dispose as you deem fit"
There was a murmur of agreement from the five.
"To this end I give you Shadowcroft Manor as a base of operation, I need not emphasise Im sure, the importance of discretion and integrity."
Again the murmur of assent from the five.
A satisfied nod from the speaker, followed by a smile at each in turn.
"Grayson, you will be known as "One", Head of the council and the casting vote,yours will be the voice of reason, your responsibility will be the welfare of each of our chapters"
Grayson inclined his head in a respectful bow.
"My Lord, I am honoured"
The cultured voice spoke again
"Blackmore, your methods of intelligence gathering and extraction are unsurpassed, you will be "Two" you are to school and oversee all matters regarding intelligence gathering, spying is such a vulgar word, don't you think?" chuckled the speaker.
Again another respectful bow
"As my Lordship wishes" Blackmore responded.
"Smith, if that is truly your name, you will be known as "Three" and as such you are to train our best assassins in your own methods of extermination, and oversee the cascading of this training to the officers in each chapter"
"Aye" was the impassive response from Smith.
"And don't tell me your Lordship" came a laughing musical voice "I am to be known as "Four"
His Lordship looked down into the sparkling eyes and golden hair of the speaker.
He smiled affectionately.
"Ah Tamara my dear, yes you will be "Four" our expert in the subtle art of persuasion, Im sure I don't have to explain what aspects you will have ultimate authority over"
Again the sweet musical laugh as she gently shook her head in a cascade of flaxen curls.
Almost with reluctance it seemed his Lordship turned his attention from Four to the last in line.
"Peters, you will be...."
"Aye My Lord, five, I see a pattern..." Peters interjected with a grin.
The two men shared a laugh.
"You will be our saboteur in residence, our explosives expert, again it is your remit to oversee all aspects of any such missions, to hand choose only the best to pass your knowledge to."

With a warm smile His Lordship took his leave of Shadowcroft Manor, satisfied that his hand picked and vetted experts were more than capable of building his Brotherhood of Shadow into a formidable power in the "underworld" of every major city in Azeroth.

This seems intruiging. When will we know more about this Brotherhood? I'd love to have a chat in-game about possibilities!

Welcome to the server. Looking forward seeing you ingame, althought i dont have any "shady" characters. Well....if you dont count two spellcaster characters both working with different kinds of "dark" or "forbidden" magical arts.

You posted in a thread that had its last response well over a year ago. The people you welcomed to the server have probably been here longer than you have.

But aye, as Arli said, they still exist. They're just not anywhere massively big or keeping a big noise about themselves.

Well no, as the guild and player still exist. I think BoS didn't find their place on Alliance after moving here, a few guilds felt threatened and were a tad hostile. Then a couple of the officers had other commitments and the guild was sort of parked. However, maybe Robi will want to get it going again someday, it's a cool concept.
