It's of the same elaborate style, but the fingers are more like claws. With retractable mini-glaiv-esque knuckle parts.

She loves her tech. And she's available for building such things to the Alliance AND Horde.

I wouldn't have expected the mechanic hand to be visible... She uses a spell to simulate a smooth skin. Perhaps she can cast an illusion on the hand too?

The thing is, she has been specifically told that if she were to restore her real hands, she'd be executed. She already -has- restored the real ones, but she's not going to go to Stormwind waving them about. The tech hands are in fact an elaborate ruse, designed to -look- overly mechanical, yet are actually just wearable gauntlets. This way, she can go to Stormwind, have hands that actually work, and if a guard approaches her, can just hold it up, clench and unclench her fist with accompanied hydraulic sounds, and say, "It's not real, sir, just a prosthetic."



Being an illusionist is more than just spells--she's still doing her cloak and daggers routine.

what happens when somebody demands that she hand (hur hur) the prosthetics over for inspection?

She has a backup illusion in place that makes her real hand invisible and her wrist a stub. So if someone wants to, she can undo the bolts (which are purposefully digging into her skin to accentuate the image), hand it over, and have a stump beneath it.

Scratch that, why were the authorities fine at all with her immediately getting prosthetics that almost entirely make up for the disability inflicted by the amputation? The lifelong disability is usually the entire point of such a punishment.

They specifically said, "You may not regenerate/grow back your hands." They never said anything about not getting prosthesis. /loophole

It should also be noted, that limb removal comes under the category of "Public Humiliation" in our laws:

-Major Public Humiliation. For example: Branding, public removal of extremities.

In other words, the main purpose of the removal is to make Dru stand out and be noticed, to allow everyone to point at her and go, "That's that damn Necromancer!". Thus, tech hands still accomplish that goal. It's still not natural, it'd still make her a pariah, regardless of if she can physically use them to manipulate things or not.

Dru's are claws as well, though somewhat practical ones (only about 1 to 1.5 inches at max) that still allow her to do fine manipulation. She's not going to rock Freddie Krueger claws. <.<

Though I should make them longer on the image, I think I made them too short.

And the funny thing is, Dru doesn't actually like or understand machines. But she figures it makes the perfect deception.

Morinth uses hers in place of a fork and knife. ;_; She cuts her food with them, and eats said food from the end. She hasn't impaled anyone on them yet, it's a case of "OH MY GOD, WHAT IF I BREAK IT?! WHAT IF IT STAINS WITH BLOOD? I DIDN'T SPEND HOURS PAINTING IT FOR NOTHING YOU KNOW!"

I really wish you hadnt explained that, now any actual process to reveal that is going to be more difficult because of metagaming or even worse moving around everything specificly not to metagame >_< Oh well... picture was nice tough.

And when he wants to come inside, he actually puts his paw under the mail slot and pulls it up, chapping the door. I was watching him the other day, he was reaching up and trying to pull the handle down to open it.

He beats up my dogs. He thinks he's a doberman or something.
