I wouldn't have expected the mechanic hand to be visible... She uses a spell to simulate a smooth skin. Perhaps she can cast an illusion on the hand too?

What is biological about a bunch of dead organic matter and mineral deposits?

that it is still biological matter it can still rot further can still feel etc non bip matter is raw elements/alloys and or compounds of basic building blocks.. like mecanical hands XD

There is plastic that can be processed in the same way as dead leaves and flesh, don't think that falls under biological things.

Metals and the like can be considered bio materials in cases like joint replacements.

Drustai being Drustai would stop certain biological processes from happening. So her original hands could by default be considered less than biological.

I advice her to get her hands on a Forsaken or Goblin Lawyer, I'm sure there's enough loopholes in that. Like if someone with biological hands is trying to touch her, it'd be in her rights to chop them off to make sure she doesn't have biological hands attached to herself.

The thing is, she has been specifically told that if she were to restore her real hands, she'd be executed. She already -has- restored the real ones, but she's not going to go to Stormwind waving them about. The tech hands are in fact an elaborate ruse, designed to -look- overly mechanical, yet are actually just wearable gauntlets. This way, she can go to Stormwind, have hands that actually work, and if a guard approaches her, can just hold it up, clench and unclench her fist with accompanied hydraulic sounds, and say, "It's not real, sir, just a prosthetic."

what happens when somebody demands that she hand (hur hur) the prosthetics over for inspection?

Scratch that, why were the authorities fine at all with her immediately getting prosthetics that almost entirely make up for the disability inflicted by the amputation? The lifelong disability is usually the entire point of such a punishment.
