Also, there's a line in the quraan which implies that Jews are just like donkeys.مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرَاةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارًا
Loosely translated, I think it says:
And just like those that carried the Torah but then did not heed its words, they are like a donkey who carries volumes of books.
Even though the original meaning is totally benign, the meaning totally changes after translating the text :p. That's why it's sometimes better to leave prose in its original language. With the exception of Dutch of course, which isn't even a proper language just the sound of a pregnant cow being gutted.
Nice speech but quite irrelevant like pissing in the sea: you may, at best, manage to anger the few people around you but you won't get far.
Dutch is the only language who actually knows two words "kriek" and "kers" to distinguish between sweet and sour cherries. This is a result of our immensely cultivated beer culture (where sour cherries are used for fruit beers) which is the only culture that matters in this world. It is but one of the many examples that reveals Dutch as a vastly superior language, because it can actually handle important matters like recipes for brewing beer.
So basically, you developed curls, words, poetry without even focusing on relevant subjects to talk about. That's like making gift wrapping without a gift. Now you tell us to "look and behold the beauty of your wrapping paper" but even the slightest shake of the box reveals you might as well trash the gift without feeling like you lost something (except junk).
That's worse than the frenchies, who only got as far as a soufle.

Re: Tzeentch's Thread of Everchanging Topics
The fact that the “rich” vocabulary of Dutch revolves around beer-making only proves to emphasize my point about Germanic languages being the language of (drunk) Barbarians. In comparison, Arabic has about 5-7 words for “to love”.
And while your analogy about gift-wrapping and gifts was cute, it is completely mute as anyone with even the tiniest shred of insight into the Arabic literary world knows that Arabs have been writing poetry for over fifteen centuries, the main recurring theme being of course love. If beer-making is now considered a more “relevant” subject than love, then it’s clear to see why Dutch has degenerated into the gruesome, guttural garble it is today.
On a side note, in pre-Islamic Arabia and even in some parts of modern day Yemen, Oman and Iraq, tribal disputes are sometimes settled through poetry (when ammunition is running low). Also, in medieval Arabia, a lot of poetry had predominantly homoerotic themes, interestingly enough. :o

English has lots of words for making love
Also my Favourite Poet is Arabic (Rumi) and his words are quite beautiful. He easily stands next to any other poet.
ON GAMBLING
To a frog that’s never left his pond the ocean seems like a gamble.
Look what he’s giving up: security, mastery of his world, recognition!
The ocean frog just shakes his head. “I can’t really explain what it’s
like where I live, but someday I’ll take you there.”
***
If you want what visible reality
can give, you’re an employee.
If you want the unseen world,
you’re not living your truth.
Both wishes are foolish,
but you’ll be forgiven for forgetting
that what you really want is
love’s confusing joy.
***
Gamble everything for love,
if you’re a true human being.
If not, leave
this gathering.
Half heartedness doesn’t reach
into majesty. You set out
to find God, but then you keep
stopping for long periods
at mean spirited roadhouses.
***
In a boat down a fast running creek,
it feels like trees on the bank
are rushing by. What seems
to be changing around us
is rather the speed of our craft
leaving this world.

What are the difference between the 5 to 7 words?
Or are they just written a bit differently to accomodate for bad penmanship?
